All around an amazing place. I hope they rebuild!

We love Shuckers! It’s such a great location with an awesome crew and amazing views. Anthony is one of our favorite bartenders on the beach! It’s a great place to eat breakfast, grab a quick lunch, watch the sunset and/or listen to a band. It’s a must visit for all out of town guests!

I really can’t say enough good things about Shuckers. Everything we got both times we went were amazing. Staff was friendly. Great location!!! Did I mention the food was great? Fish was cooked perfectly. The grouper on the grouper sandwich was 2 inches in all directions bigger than the bun (as it should be). We will definitely be back.

Great service and a fun atmosphere. We visited twice during our four night stay. Live music and cold beverages.

We ate here our first night in town. Got the peel and eat shrimp. Our favorite of the week and we ate them a lot. The dipping butter was AMAZING. not sure what they do to it but it was delicious. Oysters are good as well and Caesar salad was our favorite of the week also. Drinks were cold. Wait staff not overly friendly. We sat at the bar. Got the key lime martini. It was good but was more like a dessert.

I came here one night to have a drink with a friend after someone had recommended it. They had live music and the overall feel of this place was pretty cool. I give this place a 3 out if 5 because they kicked everyone out before their posted closing time. We got there around 11:30pm, may have been a little earlier, and knew they closed at midnight. We just came for one drink and the experience. They called last call shortly after we ordered, which was to be expected. But as soon as we got our drinks and sat, they started kicking people out. By the time they got to us and asked us to leave, it was 15 til midnight. I asked the gentleman about the midnight closing time and he responded with, "well, it's getting a little crazy so we're closing now." I explained to him that we just got here and there with the expectation of a midnight closing time and still he drinks we just ordered to finish. That's when I was told to chug it. I know these guys have probably been dealing with drunk people all day but this put an awful taste in my mouth. First off, I'm not a big person. I have no business chugging a tequila drink in 5 minutes. I felt like it was super irresponsible for the staff to suggest that. 2nd, if you're closing early, you shouldn't be allowing people in to the bar and you shouldn't call last call 10 minutes before you start kicking ppl out. Again, very irresponsible of the staff. Overall, the start of this experience was pleasant, but it ended quickly and poorly.

I ordered the lobster roll. It looked nothing like other pictures I've seen elsewhere. It was mostly red claw meat with no hunks of the good white meat. Husband ordered shrimp scampi. The pasta was basically in water with barely a trace of butter. He said it was the worst meal he had in years. My daughter said her stuffed shrimp was good. Cost 75.00 for two of us to have crap. Worst dining experience on our vacation.

Came to Shuckers for brunch. They are right by the water and have a nice view of all the action. This beach gets really busy, so you mostly see beach goers along with the ocean view. It was six of us and one of our friends had made a reservation through open table I believe, but once we got there, the hostess informed us they do not take reservations. The six of us had to sit along the bar facing the water. Not ideal because we didn't get to talk to each other. The waitress was really nice though and took our order fast brought our drinks and our food came out soon after. They have extremely large portions so you'll definitely get your money's worth. My food was very good. I didn't finish at all and I was sorry to leave my leftovers behind. I did not take a doggie bag since we were going to the beach right after. All in all other than having to sit at the bar and not be able to talk to my friends, everything else was great.

This place is top notch! Best boiled shrimp and crab legs cooked to perfection. The hostess, Nicole, was super helpful as well as the kitchen staff. Samantha was our server and she has the most beautiful spirit and personality. They had live music and dancing so go at night if this is your kind of thing. Hope to go again soon!

We drove down here for our anniversary and this is the first place we came. Definitely not disappointed. Best bloody mary I've had at a bar in a LONG time. We ended up hitting this place up again before we left a couple days later and got brunch. Our server/bartender, Ryan, was super nice, funny, helpful and attentive. Honestly we will probably make the 2.5 hour drive back down here just for this place sometime in the near future.

I managed to get in there between rushes and the GM came right up to me ask me if it was my first time I said yes. The food was fantastic absolutely filling, the scallops were butter melts in your mouth so good so freaking good. Definitely be back for more

My wife is a Fort Myers native and has been going to The Cottage since she was a kid. Best beach bread eva. Seafood is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend any shrimp or scallop dishes. Listed cocktails are too sweet for my taste but the bartenders can make them less sweet and stronger on request. Our servers have been excellent. Great views of The Gulf and live music on most days make this our favorite spot on FMB.
