my husband and i have been coming here since we moved to fort myers in 2019. We go at least 2 times a week, especially on Tuesday because I love the split pea soup. The owners always came up and chatted with us. I have never had a complaint until last night (9/23).
I ordered the cordon blue chicken sandwhich a personal favorite of mine with pea soup. But my chicken was still a pink in the center. It happens and I understand that. I wasn't upset at all never raised my voice. But I also know eating under cooked chicken, not tempted at 165 or higher, can make u sick. A young man comes out with my plate and argues with me if its under cooked or not. I told him to me it is and I just want it fixed please. He kept at me. He goes back in the kitchen and comes back in a few minutes. This time the meat is all cut up. He embarrassed me in front of my husband and all the ppl around us. Showing my husband the chicken and saying something like what do u think sir its not pink is it. I said look please take it off our bill. he says fine next time order it we'll done. (I have never had it well done before and its been fine. Why would I do that now), With a slightly raised voice. I was so embarrassed and treated so badly that sadly last night was my last cup of split pea soup. I looked for the owners but never saw them. We won't be coming back. I know that it means nothing to u to loose a regular. I have never ever complained about ur food. Yet I have an issue and you embarrass me. But you won't again. Thank u for your time heather

Absolutely best breakfast in Ft Myers!

When my wife was having a child at the hospital I would head over here and grab us breakfast, since food is not the most appealing at the hospital.. The service was incredible, the food was even better. It also gave me 15 minutes to decompress and grab a cup of Joe until the food was ready and to head back to the hospital 🏥. I would recommend this place over and over as a local diner.

Great brunch just now. Service was excellent and food was delicious. I highly recommend you opt for the pancake when they ask if you want biscuit toast or pancake. I don't eat pancakes often as they usually aren't anything to get excited about. But I would go by here again just to have their pancakes. I think they are buttermilk and they possibly cook them in butter, but they are delicious! I had the house skillet and it was full of meat and very good. I have enough left for another whole meal. Food is plentiful!
