The Whale was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. They just had their groundbreaking ceremony weekend and will start rebuilding. The new place will be a gorgeous 3 floor venue. My daughter's band, Gilded Lily Band, had the chance to perform during the weekend. Looking forward to seeing the new place in 2025. SWFL Strong.
The whale is the best bar on FMB! The greatest owners, management, and bartenders around! ;) Mike, Dawn, and Greg have worked tirelessly to provide a wonderful spot for locals and tourists to hang out, despite the fact that the restaurant was destroyed by hurricane Ian almost 2 years ago…. There’s always something fun going on at the whale!! ? Can’t wait for the rebuild! ❤️

Both customers and staff...these people are living their best lives.It's the place to come if you're hungry, and even if you didn't know you were...once you get a whiff...
