Starving. Came here but it was closed ?

I'm in town for a couple weeks for work and didn't feel like cooking a full meal because it's just me. I came in on Sunday 02/04 and got the 2 veggie plates and listen here... I'll be back Wednesday ?? this food so good and well seasoned I don't even know what to do with myself right now. And it's like everything has it's own FLAVOR that's what I'm talking about. No salt just savory flavor and thank you so much because it's really hard to find good quality soul food when you're traveling away from home. Yall gone make it hard for me to leave lol all love and gratitude, thank you ?

Stopped in for a snack with my wife and two of my daughters after the flea market. The woman working was very friendly. Not sure if she was the owner. The food was awesome. Especially the mac and cheese. Hope to go back.

The food is so good! This reminds me of my childhood and the type of cooking I would expect from my momma. This is good soul food and I am glad that I tried this place. I look forward to trying it again. I had the smothered pork chops, with green beans and candied yams. It was so good! I took a nap afterwards to dream about how good the food was. Thank you for this good meal!

I had the fried chicken, collards, Mac & Cheese with cornbread, the cornbread was horrible, but I really enjoyed everything

I've been on a mission all day to find some sweet potato pie - I literally came down from Sarasota and Mae's Place hooked me up. Definitely worth the drive and the search. The sweet potato pie was FIRE! You won't be disappointed

How is this possible they are getting 5 stars???The chicken was dry and bland,mac and cheese out a box(a joke)veggies out a can(disgusting)hard dry corn muffin,garbage food.Never going back again. It is disrespectful to dare to call this soul food,this was literally the worst meal I have ever tasted!!!

I am very picky when it comes to my groceries, but I have not been disappointed yet. Everything is so good. My favorite dish is the yellow rice, smothered chicken, collard green medley & the Mac & cheese. Although it’s a bit to sweet for my taste, the signature drinks are very very good as well. There is a nice variety of desserts that are also really good. Give it try, you’ll be hooked.

I'm sure other people like a lot of garlic, but I don't. Food would have been good otherwise for me.

Food and Service was delightful ? had a taste for some soul food and the smothered pork chop rice and gravy and collard greens definitely hit the spot. Little bit expensive but the food was delicious and made with love.
