Food was delicious, probably the best Reuben I've had in awhile!
I planned on coming back until I got harassed by the lady at the counter about my OPTIONAL tip. Because I didn't do the recommended tip of 15%+ she proceeded to try to guilt me into tipping more after I pointed out that tipping is not only optional, it's a recommended amount. Asked for the reciept and she slapped it on the desk.
Its disgusting that we as Americans are normalizing tipping as something mandatory; PAY YOUR STAFF MORE! Maybe then they wouldn't be harassing and guilting customers for an optional tip! CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT BE HARASSED OR GUILTED TO GIVE LARGER TIPS!

Biggies is a breakfast/lunch restaurant. They know how to make it work. Breakfast all day, daily specials, and service that makes you feel like you eat there everyday. I love this place. Especially with the new ownership which happened a few years ago.

So i was looking for a quick place for a full breakfast. Let me start by saying that when I walked in, someone said I’ll be with you in a second with no smile and then ignored me. The woman behind the register noticed this and then said I’ll take you to your seat. The waitress, also disgruntled because I heard her talking about how someone asked to refill their water came to the table. I asked her if there were any specials she scoffed and then said I don’t know. Let me go look. When she came back, she read them, but they weren’t anything I wanted So she again scoffed and said OK Mister. I ordered the American platter it was ok, potatoes were rubbery. And the waitress just disappeared for the remainder of the time. No coffee refill and i was not about to ask for more water. If you want better service, go anywhere else.
