My go to place for Sushi in the Fort Myers area! It’s always tasty and timely. Every cocktail I’ve tried has been amazing, and I’ve enjoyed every roll. When I say I want sushi, this is where I want to go. Their lunch deal if awesome if you want a nice little something. My absolute favorite item is the Spicy Salmon Tostados (minus the jalapeño).

Fish is always fresh and very good quality. Most of the time I order sashimi having nigiri and /or rolls only on rare occasion. Today was that exception. I ordered a sushi-sashimi combo dinner. Fish as always, was very good. Nigiri rice, however was quite disappointingly blend. Perhaps and hopefully today was a "one of". I'll just stick to sashimi from now on. Still one of the best I had in Fort Myers Metro.

Wasn't going to submit this but after requesting a call from the restaurant and not receiving one I felt I needed to put this out there. Been coming to Blu on a regular basis (over 20 times in the past year) and have loved it every time but this visit. Sometimes it's just my wife and I and other times I bring friends and family so they can experience what is one of our favorites. This visit was not enjoyable. My wife and I were at a hightop in the corner of the bar area having our dinner when a group sat at the bar that thought Blu was a nightclub. So loud and obnoxious that even the bartender was shaking her head. My wife and I almost had to scream to hear each other. I have no problem with people having a good time but be respectful of the other patrons. Blu is an upscale dining restaurant not a nightclub. Not the type of establishment where you yell and scream amongst yourselves when sitting at the bar. I feel that many in the group probably had a few too many and that management should have stepped in and got the situation and the ambience and noise level throughout the whole restaurant under control. It made for a very unpleasant visit and created an additional problem as we left. I'll just leave that as it is. Again, I really didn't want to air this publicly but the lack of response from Blu for my request to discuss the situation private left me no other option. Still love the food and staff though.

For only 3 people having lunch, we waited a long time for food to arrive. We used to come for the all you can eat lunch, and the food came out so quickly. It's still our favorite sushi restaurant, by far!

The restaurant is hard to find. It needs a good deep clean inside. It was dark, but you could still see filth. I went to celebrate a friend's birthday, but I'm not a sushi lover, so I ordered Chicken Teriyaki. It was flavorless. There were 3 pieces of broccoli, about 10 shaved carrots, and the chicken was rubbery and tasted weird. Perhaps it was microwaved then sliced on top of the bowl of rice. The only thing I was happily surprised about was the water. It tasted good! And our server Regan was great!
