Let me promptly state that this establishment does not sell food although I did rate the food 5 stars because Shannon is my dinner(see photos). Pretty groovy spot, good drinks and cool people that play pool old school(bars). Since moving to Florida in July I have had such a horrendous time making friends(I was homeschooled and don’t know how to carry a conversation), but since coming to Burma I have been welcomed with open arms namely by River, Steve, Destin, and too many others to name(so I guess that so namely) River my tall Tennessee country boy pal who likes to watch videos of little animals with chef hats on. Steve my little Asian friend who cooks rice and generously feeds us sushi. Destin, my potentially balding friend who just put together a Lego Porsche. All have made me feel special(not derrr🥴special) and I enjoy spending time with them. There are some odd folks that attend I cannot lie, but overall they pose no threat so do not fear, River IS HERE. Oh actually one thing that this place will do if you’re not careful is REALLY mess up your sleep schedule. Got up at 2:30pm today because I left last night at 4:30am. River was showing me jump sticks that he was going to buy as I was falling asleep, crazy stuff. Right now we’re watching some guy play pool that threw a tantrum the other day because he wanted to play but it wasn’t his turn(he’s like 25). He’s a little baby boy to us and if he does it again we’re going to feed him apple slices and call his mother. Plenty of apple slices to go around for anyone who comes in here and doesn’t act right. If you do come in and try it out, be sure to treat the employees right, especially Shannon and Taylor because if you don’t you will experience the wrath of River and I. Peace and Love. I've been coming to this place for quite some time now, it's time I share my thoughts. This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are the most helpful and friendly people I've encountered in an environment like this. They are very accommodating. The drinks are always superb and they even do hookah! The outside area is a fine spot to hang out in and the inside has a nice homey feel to it. There isn't enough words in my brain to sing my proper praises of this place.

Where to start about my feelings on Burma. It really has become like a home away from home. This place breeds a level of community that I have found no where else. To the exceptional care that the owners put into this place to the amazing staff that they employ. If you have not had the chance to stop into Burma. I could not recommend it more.

This has to be the best kava bar in swfl! Love the atmosphere and people. The kavatenders are extremely attentive and super knowledgeable on kava and kratom! Taylor was our kavatender and went over the moon to make sure we had a good experience.

I would like to preface this review by saying that I have been banned from Burma. And it wasn’t from no actions of my own. There is a watchdog that decided to send me out, and she dresses in ridiculous clothes with dyed bright red hair. I had a person that works two jobs and only gets 3 to 4 hours of sleep at night that I decided to bring with me to the facility. I was entertaining the thought of possibly having him rent my guest room in my house, and when I brought him there for the very first time, I was with another friend and we were playing pool a little after hours. To no fault of my own, that person fell asleep on the couch chair next to the pool table while I was playing pool. The redheaded girl took it upon herself to reprimand me, and ban me from being a patron at that establishment. Many attempts of contacting the owners have failed because apparently she runs the social media aspect of the company. So getting in touch with the owners is very difficult. But why I was singled out as being inappropriate and being banned for the actions of someone else is completely ridiculous. I have since removed that guy from my house because he is too much of an adolescent, and I didn’t want his behavior to be exposed to my daughter. But why I was chosen to be banned from the establishment is very confusing. For some reason, I have been singled out for no good reason. People there like me and I just go there to get a drink and play some pool and then go home. The gatekeeper, apparently wants to subvert me and keep me from contacting the owners for some reason. Probably because she’s afraid of me telling them truth about what actually took place that evening. There’s also another jerk called that helps with running the pool tournaments. I have heard from multiple people that they all dislike her. Me included. She is very gruff and mean. I don’t know what’s going on at this facility, but there is definitely favoritism and for someone like me who is very kind and cordial to be banned is absolutely asinine. Be careful if you go to this place. The atmosphere is nice, but those two girls are not. Hopefully, eventually, I can talk to the owners, if they ever get back to me or if I can ever speak to them to regain access to their Kava Bar. It’s a nice place but watch out for those two girls because they are a menace. And if anybody in any kind of authority reads this, I will take this review down if I can have this stupid ban removed. And I also spent so much money at that place that I continue to have a free drink from the Clover app, but apparently I cannot collect because of this ban. I feel very dishonored and very angry at this whole situation, which has been going on for a couple months now.

Waited at the bar for 5 minutes to order a drink. 3 people behind the bar saw me but, did not ask my order. Direct reflexion on owners that don't train bar people properly. These kava bars seem to be losing service quality fast! ZERO SERVICE!!!

I recently visited Burma Kava Tea and Coffee Bar for a meeting. Initially, I was hesitant to order as I wasn’t familiar with some of the drinks. After consulting with the bartender, I decided to try the green Kratom tea with strawberry and mango flavors. My first impression was that the tea had a slightly bitter aftertaste, but the strawberry and mango syrups added a nice sweetness that balanced it out.

The atmosphere of the bar is a solid 10/10—inviting and relaxing. While I’m not sure if I would try the drinks again without doing more research, the overall experience was enjoyable, thanks to the ambiance and friendly staff. @SilverPenNotary
