Cabos Cantina Taco & Tequila Bar

Good food, good location and good atmosphere. Located in downtown Fort Myers close to the waterfront and lots of boutique shops. Great tasting Mexican food in an authentic Mexican atmosphere. The staff were excellent with friendly and attentive service. One thing I didn’t care for was the smash burger. It was too small for the price and could use something more to it. Parking in the area could be difficult. There’s paid street parking or after 5 it’s free. Otherwise paid parking garages nearby.

Ryan was great! He was kind and it seemed liked he was running around since they were short staffed. He did a great job! It’s really on the owner of the restaurant to ensure they are staffed properly. The food is not that good, at best it’s fine. I do not recommend the tacos or taco bowl (especially for the price). The best is probably the enchiladas. Very cheesy. Maybe the place is better at night when the visibility is low, but try a different place for lunch.

We had a great experience at Cabo’s Cantina in downtown Fort Myers! The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Our waitress Ella did an amazing job, even more impressive since it was her first day. The place was busy so we waited a little for a table but once seated everything came out quickly. Drinks and food were served fast, and the complimentary salsa and nachos were a really nice touch. The location itself is a cool spot with lots of energy, especially on the weekends. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I stopped by Cabos on Friday a little after 1, while strolling downtown. My server, Ella, was very friendly and excellent! I had the lunch salad with shrimp and the toasted coconut margarita. The food and drink were excellent!

Their lunch bowls are a great option but only if you are lucky to go on a “good “ day. I wonder if their kitchen staff changes depending on the day of the week.

I stood at the entrance for two minutes and no one approached us so we went inside at the bar. Not even a high how you’re doing from the bartender after two more minutes. We noticed another group came in and someone ran right up to them at the front door. We got up and left

Service here has been consistently bad. Always thought maybe it was just a bad server. But it’s every time. Icing on the cake was when i accidentally left my raybans on the table then I came back 5 min later and they were gone. 90% sure it was the server that took them.

Gave the restaurant a try for some Mexican cuisine. The tacos and chips were enjoyable, though the chicken taco lacked a bit of flavor. Great sauces, though! The place was busy, and we waited 10-15 minutes for service. Also a bit pricy. I’d give it a 3 out of 5. Could use some improvement in service and value

Wasnt even close to busy . Took forever to get our drinks, our food order and i wouldnt have got my second drink until my server saw me at the bar trying to order a drink after a painfully long time to wait for a drink in a bottle . What a joke .

I love this restaurant but wish they would bring back happy hour pricing on appetizers and BOGO drinks. We don’t go there as much just because of this. Also, place was empty and it took us a bit to even get waited on. I would understand if the place was packed, but it wasn’t. Ended up at Sip & Sizzle because they have great appetizers for happy hour.
