First time at this small, cute place. Food was very good. I had Pasta Bolognese and the noodles were homemade. Portion size was very small. Very Italian, delish and a little pricey. The server came out with one small piece of bread on a plate each for my friend and I to start our meal but the bread was good. Trying to be positive but will not return.

This is a cozy trattoria that is absolutely wonderful. Being Italian and from NJ I’ve enjoyed a lot of Italian food . Caffe Toscano is as authentic and tasty as they come . From the bread to the entrees to the desserts everything was excellent. We enjoyed the octopus in the black ink pasta and the veal . They were delicious. Antonio and Diana are warm and welcoming. It definitely gives the feeling of being in the homeland of Italy! We will definitely be back! Grazie

Appetizers were very fresh and the entrees served steaming hot. Server was doing way to many other things in the restaurant and was scattered and a bit flippant. "We are known for our olive oil" which she never brought to our table for our bread and realized after dessert was completed that water and tea glasses were completely empty.
Truly the most authentic and absolutely delicious Italian cuisine I have ever had! For the appetizer/antipasti I had the Malanzana Alla Parmigiana (eggplant parmesan) it was incredible and the Pecorino Toscano, a baked cheese with honey and walnuts and it comes with a crunchy bread that was wonderful. For the entree I had the fish of the day which was the Branzano?? (Not sure if im spelling that correctly or even calling it the correct name but its a sea bass, I believe. It was topped with cherry tomatoes, olives, pine nuts and laying on top of a lemon sauce... it came with green beans and roasted potatoes. I would have licked the plate clean if I wasn't in public! It was perfect! For dessert we had the Pistachio Gelato and the Tartufo...perfect end to an incredible meal. Highly recommend!
