My sister and I had been looking at properties in Sarasota all day and were heading back to home base in Ft Myers late and we were both done in and starving. We stopped for dinner just before the dinner rush. The girls worked the dining room as a team. The service was excellent! We started with the bang bang shrimp, fish and chips and shrimp basket. Everything was so delicious. Both had the fresh brewed tea which was perfect. What a treat!
This is my very favorite local spot for fresh seafood. It is hidden away in Iona, right off of McGregor and at the end of an old strip mall. Small dining areas inside and out and friendly young servers who are eager to please. I always get the clam chowder and the fried shrimp/cod basket and it is prepared perfectly and is always delicious. This is not fine dining but it is always good, filling and served hot.
