We have been snowbirds for the last 3 years. We always check out the local seafood stores. This place by far, is the BEST fresh fish, stone crab, shrimp, and fish dips we have EVER eaten in Florida. I kid you not. Go to this place and see for yourself. I promise this is a local hidden gem!

If you want fresh seafood, this is well worth the drive. They use to be located on the way to Sanibel Island right behind the Sanibel Outlets. Be sure to verify hours before you go to ensure they're open. We highly recommend Capt J's.

My hubby and I stopped by Capt. J’s yesterday at their new location. They had great quality and a great variety of seafood. The lobster tails were well priced and a great size. They also had larger ones that were HUGE. We will definitely be back for more seafood and would highly recommend it. Supporting local businesses is always best!

We also bought the fresh fish dip. We were extremely happy with the quality! We put our fresh salmon on our grill on the beach that morning for breakfast ...Such a special treat!! We'll be back!
