The price needs to come back down, customers shouldn’t be paying for CB wasting investment on an unwelcomed remodel. Bring the price back down!!!

Family luncheon. Wife and I got Sampler plates 2 items. Dumplings and meatloaf. Was good. Son, Chicken Fried Chicken and was good. Daughter burger and fries. STOP! Fries were overcooked and greasy. Unable to eat them. Burger was not properly cooked, and unseasoned. New fries brought back out in same condition as first. When leaving waitress got a overcooked burger to replace original one. Nice but it turned out to be a BBQ burger, totally different from the one she ordered first time, and very messy. Looked more like a revenge burger than fixing the original one. Told by waitress, new cooks.

Food at Cracker Barrel has never been 5 stars..you can change the sign back, but someone with some taste buds needs to give it a go at changing the food.

The food was terrible. We stayed at the Home2 Suites next door. I placed a to go order in the restaurant. Waited 30 minutes for my order and by the time I got to the room (not even 5 minutes) the food was cold. My wife and I had the turkey and my mother in law had the chicken fried chicken, just greasy and not cooked through. The wild berry tea tasted like cough medicine. The lemonade was rancid. This was a terrible experience. The $5 fried chicken meal was just as bad. We had to heat up all 4 of our meals, this was a waste of money.

Our recent visit was wonderful. First of all the original sign is back!! The brunch plates were excellent. Great pancakes and hot biscuits. Server was attentive and nice. Prices were reasonable. The store of interesting goods is back. Was just like the old days we used to stop along the highway while traveling as a family. Hadn’t been to Cracked Barrel in years until it became an issue of late.
