Family luncheon. Wife and I got Sampler plates 2 items. Dumplings and meatloaf. Was good. Son, Chicken Fried Chicken and was good. Daughter burger and fries. STOP! Fries were overcooked and greasy. Unable to eat them. Burger was not properly cooked, and unseasoned. New fries brought back out in same condition as first. When leaving waitress got a overcooked burger to replace original one. Nice but it turned out to be a BBQ burger, totally different from the one she ordered first...

Our recent visit was wonderful. First of all the original sign is back!! The brunch plates were excellent. Great pancakes and hot biscuits. Server was attentive and nice. Prices were reasonable. The store of interesting goods is back. Was just like the old days we used to stop along the highway while traveling as a family. Hadn’t been to Cracked Barrel in years until it became an issue of late.

Have no complaints other than when my husband ordered his food 2 times the waiter had to come and tell my husband they were out of what he ordered. Thankfully the Young waiter was good about letting us know and was doing a good job.
