I wanted Cracker Barrell for dinner and was ordering an online pick up. The site would not complete my transaction and after continuing to try to complete it we were at the restaurant when it finally worked. Was told it would be a 31-40 minute wait. So decided to go in and eat.
We were seated and 2 napkins were thrown on our table. After the waitress introduced herself to us, she went to the table behind us and apparently there was a problem with the order and bill. She spent a great deal of time explaining this to customer and said it will be removed to his bill. Things still were not settled and she continued returning to the table. I felt that a manager should have stepped in.
When we finally had our order taken she returned and told us that the corn muffins that we ordered would take longer. would you like biscuits to start? She brought our meals and we had no silverware. We asked for that and she returned with just 1 fork for each of us in a small paper bag. She said there was no clean silverware. Then she came back with the biscuits and put them on the table and left. We had no way to butter our biscuits because there was no knives. I then asked her to bring us plastic silverware, she seemed confused, but I reminded her that the take outs get plastic. After that I asked her to get the manager.
A manager did come to the table and I explained to her that I was very disappointed with the restaurant for the way she was not there to handle the problem with the waitress and also that we did not have silverware. She apologized, but not very sincerely.
(not to seem prejudice, but she didn't seem old enough to be a manager)
We usually enjoy Cracker Barrel, but definitely would think twice before returning

Our Cracker Barrel on Daniels is getting worse every time. We are regulars about each Friday. We took a break for 2 weeks. Went back last night. The wait I can always understand. Our waitress being new is understandable. But the foods coming out is awful. We ordered the fish fry. Cornbread. She says we have none I brought you biscuits. We smiled and said ok. Not her fault. After a lengthy wait warren drank his coffee only to find lots of dried food in his coffee cup. Really, she put that cup down and pours the coffee. She should have seen it was filthy. He drank that coffee almost all of it before he saw that. The green beans now have some hot sauce in them instead of country taste. The Carrots were bland. I didn’t eat them. The fish was rubbery. I didn’t eat it. The guy beside us also waited n waited. His baked potato was not BAKED. He didn’t eat it. Couldn’t eat it. He never got his corn bread. When I showed our waitress the coffee cup. Her response was, do you want a lemonade?? No, more coffee. No. she then brought us corn bread. We were almost done. But it was fresh. The guy beside us said could I get my cornbread. She said No there isn’t any more. We gave ours to the man. We didn’t complain. Nor did he. We just sat in shock. After he left the waitress said the guy beside you paid your bill. I got up to go tell him No. but he said you shared your cornbread. I thanked him. We still tipped our waitress she said thanks. But THIS Cracker Barrel is done for us. This is the 4 th time our food was very nasty. I think it’s your manager. We will not go here again. We will drive 12 miles to another. Very disappointed. Tina.

The service was horrible weather you order online or dine in still the same food cold and take at minimum hour to get your food

I would have rated the food 5 stars. However, the last several entrees I have ordered, while flavorful, did not have ingredients distributed evenly. Two cases in point are a casserole and the stuffed pancakes. Greater care is needed. I did not give the atmosphere more stars is because of the noise level. While the noise probably can’t be mitigated, the kitchen issue surely can be.

The food was great as always, however, my wife and I were both disappointed in the portions of the vegetables that we received. We both had green beans and baby carrots and I’ve never seen such a small portion from Cracker Barrel. I had country fried steak and she had the chicken tenders, the portion size for both of the meats was normal.

We were regulars and had not been to this location in a few months to our surprise as to how things have changed.
1 spoon per table ( we asked 3 times for spoons and never got it, we had to use the spoon that was left at the table possibly from the previous customer)
We were also told we would not be able to have biscuits unless we buy them? Really? We never had an issue before.
Skimping on napkins.
Service was extremely slow.
This is enough for us to reconsider ever returning to this location.
