This place is tiny and obscure but don't let that fool you. This place is a hidden gem! The owners wife was very welcoming and friendly. You felt like you were being greeted by family. The food was amazing! Everything was homemade including the pasta! The red sangria was the best I've tasted! If you are ever in Ft. Myers do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't be disappointed!

Half the lights were turned out when we arrived. While the menu on-line was extensive, the actual menu was abreviated. They explained this was due to short staffing. I asked if I was able to get a dish not on the abreviated menu and they said yes, because they were not busy. i ordered a salad ala carte, which for $5.00 was miniscule, a draft beer, and a $16.95 entre. The wife ordered a $16.95 entre and a diet Coke. When the bill came (which was not itemized) it was $69.00! While the food and service were good, we will not go back because we feel their pricing is deceptive.

Everything was fabulous. The service was impeccable, and the food is like my grandmother is cooking. Great place I highly recommended.

Food was excellent- made from scratch. Great personal service. Had gluten free pasta. Loved the Chianti and the cannoli.

I love this little Mamma and Poppa shop. They make from scratch they cook from the heart. Their sauces are delicious. Their eggplant Parmesan is heavenly. Yes, they struggle. They are tucked in and hidden away, and not on the main drag. So the place is not overwhelmingly busy, but that is good for you as the customer because you get personal attention.

Food was non appetizing and overpriced. You'd be better off to just go home and open a can of beans for dinner... No joke. Don't eat here!

My wife and I have eaten there numerous times and I must say that this place is a "hidden gem." I have dinned at the finest restaurants in the world and the food here rivals (even exceeds) the top 5-star establishments. The owners are gifted food artisans who truly understand how to source the finest ingredients and to combine them into the most flavorful dishes imaginable. In my decades of eating at the most heralded and finest restaurants, the food here is by far better. In addition, the prices are significantly lower than many of the high-end establishments. In my thinking, anyone who gave Da Vinci's a poor rating has probably never actually eaten there. The owner's are very engaging and delightful if you take the time to engage them. I would give them more "stars" if I could.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. And hope you read this before considering this restaurant (if you call it this). The owner’s wife was extremely combative and for lack of better terminology, indeed served frozen pizza. She claimed that she didn’t know she needed to tell us a bottle of water (Kirkland from Costco) was going to cost $2 (it’s fine, but state this), and as well as a 6% service charge for using a credit card (even though we were going to pay in cash). She proceeded to say the water was from Publix, then yelled back it was from Costco and she can charge customers what she wants. She lied numerous times about the size of the pizza, refused to show the “homemade” dough, and became very combative yelling in front of our family with our daughter.Worst Italian food in Fort Myers, Florida

First of all I'm giving it 1 star because I have to.....Walked in around 5 ish only ones there- most the lights were off- if we were smart we would have left- the menu was very limited and that should have been clue #2 ordered spaghetti meatballs , spaghetti w/ bolognese sauce - both plates were way overpriced at $17 ea- I'm pretty sure the meatballs were frozen from a foodservice co- bland no taste- I asked for Parmesan cheese and was given one packet - - it just keep going downhill - my only hope is I don't get food poisoning ..... choose wisely and skip the place....

Absolute joke. Charged 20 bucks for a 10inch frozen pizza and 10 dollars for 2 meatballs with with sargento chees melted on it. Don’t even bother. Total rip off.

So at the time of this review, they are going to close for a month for vacation. They have a limited menu and no pizza, so I can't really speak to the pies. The pastas are great, sauces are great, and the meatballs are probably some of the best you will ever have. So, when they get back, definitely try this place. EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE!! I'm a big guy and have been friends with Italian food for most of my life. This place is really top notch. It's not a fancy dining room. Don't expect a wine steward, floor length linens, nor snooty waiters. It's just fantastic food at a very reasonable price. Most entrees are around twenty bucks, so you just can't go wrong. There is a bar area also, but I really wasn't there for that. I always say, "If the fat guy recommends it, you should probably try it".
