Very rude manager. My order was wrong. She screamed at me and my boyfriend came up to counter and told her to quit yelling at me. He did hit counter because she wouldn't quit racing her voice. She wouldn't give us her name. Threatened to call cops on us. She just needed to fix my order and quit arguing. We go here at least weekly. Employees are scared of her.

Ordered bacon cheeseburger and had to wait about 7 minutes at the end of the drive thru, then opened the bag to find the most greasy burger ever. Buns we soaked and just nasty. Not going back.

Food was very good. Service was slow but courteous. The building appeared to have fallen victim to vandalism. Glass in doors appeared broken.

Been going here for soft serve cones, also have ordered their food items specially chicken tenders. We have not had any issues with food quality but depending time sometimes they are backed. Customer service has been good overall. I would say in peak times they may need more staffing but this DQ is our go too. Thank You to the staff

It was a sweltering summer afternoon, and the sun hung heavy in the sky as I shuffled down Main Street. My knees ached, my hat was barely shielding me from the relentless heat, and my cane tapped rhythmically against the cracked pavement. I was on a mission, though—a simple one: get to the Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen had always been my little escape. Back in the day, my late wife, Margaret, and I would come here on Sundays after church. She’d get a classic vanilla cone, and I’d treat myself to a chocolate sundae. Those small moments felt like gold.

As I pushed open the glass door, the little bell above jingled, and a rush of cool, sweet air greeted me. The place was buzzing with life—kids sticky with ice cream, parents sipping sodas, and teenagers working the counter. One kid, in particular, caught my eye.

He was probably about 16, wearing a red Dairy Queen visor crooked on his head, and a name tag scribbled with Dom. His smile stretched wide as he handed a little girl her cone, but then he noticed me. His face softened, and he gave me a nod.

“Afternoon, sir! What can I get started for you today?” Dom said as I approached the counter.

“Chocolate sundae. Extra fudge,” I said, leaning on my cane. “Gotta treat these old bones every now and then.”

Dom chuckled and started crafting the sundae with care. His hands moved swiftly, but not rushed, like he was making art instead of dessert. As he worked, I glanced around. The tables were all full, but one little booth in the corner had a clear view of the window—a perfect spot.

“Here you go, sir,” Dom said, sliding the sundae toward me with a grin.

I fumbled for my wallet, but before I could fish out a bill, Dom held up his hand. “This one’s on me today.”

I squinted at him. “Now, son, I didn’t come here for charity.”

“It’s not charity, sir,” he said softly. “My grandpa used to love his chocolate sundaes too. Just… let me do this one for him.”

Something in his voice made my chest tighten. I nodded and accepted the sundae.

I settled into the corner booth, spooning the cold, rich dessert slowly. Outside, the world bustled on—cars rolled by, kids chased each other down the sidewalk—but inside, it was just me, the ice cream, and the memory of Margaret.

When I finished, I struggled to stand. My cane wobbled, and I braced myself against the table. Before I could falter, Dom was there, his hand firm on my arm.

“Let me help you, sir.”

We walked to the door together, his steps steadying mine. As we reached the threshold, I turned to him.

“Thank you, Dom. For the sundae and… for being a good kid.”

Dom smiled, that same wide grin. “Anytime, sir. Come back soon, okay?”

As I stepped out into the sun, my knees still aching and my hat still crooked, I realized something: it wasn’t just the chocolate sundae that made Dairy Queen special. It was people like Dom—the ones who remind you, in the simplest of ways, that kindness still matters.

We have been here several times and it’s hit or miss. The service is ok. We usually eat in the dining room but this last time we did the drive thru. It took forever for them to bring our food. The lady at the drive thru counter said to move up behind the other car. There was no car so I pulled around and we waited like 10 minutes. Then an employee stuck her head out the window and asked me to proceed around the building as the car behind me needed to exit. We drove around and proceeded to wait another five minutes for the food. The food was good but it takes a long time to get the food out. This time we didn’t order any ice cream. When we eat inside if we do order ice cream I always ask to get that at the end of our meal so it doesn’t melt. The food is good but the service isn’t the greatest. Will be back as I mentioned we do go often but will try to go in as it seems it takes too long in the drive thru.

This place loves to park cars on the other side of the building to keep times down. If you go here to eat as a family be prepared to wait and hope the order is correct. But hey at least it seems fresh...
