Wanted to try this little gem for a while and finally made the trek from North Fort Myers. A warm welcome was received entering into a long space with a central kitchen and booths along the left wall. Art and pictures from Greek islands adorned the walls giving a sense of the origins of the cuisine. We ordered the grilled octopus which was on par with the quality from Athens or Mykonos. We had the moussaka and the sampler platter which were excellent as well with a wonderful bechamel topping. A sublime side vegetables of string beans, tomato, onion, garlic and dill was deliciously crafted. A small Greek salad came with each entree as well. Take some home so you have room for the superb baklava which is large enough to share. As we were concluding our wonderful meal the chef came out of the kitchen a berated a table behind us, which by the tone we assumed was children with "you don't want to eat my food? Get out!" Then a salad plate smashed on the floor. Next a very old couple waddled past our table replying to the chef " we're going to write a review!" The chef chided them with "I don't need reviews, I serve good food! get out and don't come back!". The couple ordered two appetizers and the were served a the same time, not separately. They made a fuss over the fried squid and wanted it returned to the kitchen and remade until they finished splitting their Greek salad....anyone knows fried foods are to be eaten when served. They browbeat the wonderful waitress into taking the dish back to the busy kitchen, which was the ignition for the floor show. To see this much fire and pride (well deserved on both counts) from a chef of an establishment of 32 years speaks volumes of the love that is crafted into his food...you can taste it! I wish they had nightly dinner specials to showcase that fire. We will return again. Thank you for feeding us.

Delicious food, generous portions… the service was excellent! You won’t leave here hungry. The absolute only negative thing I can think of is I don’t like the paper straws.

Haven’t been to one of our all-time favorite spots Nomika’s in quite a while. Went for early dinner, late, lunch, yesterday and found it to be the same wonderful Greek food we have consistently gotten there. I got my usual chicken souvlaki platter with green beans instead of rice and my husband got his gyro with fries. Great service, wonderful food… lovely meal.

First time to dine for lunch. Small Greek Salad and Gyro sandwich shared with the wife. Both were excellent! Salad was cold, crisp ,fresh with a very tasty house made dressing and a sizable portion for two. Gyro sandwich was perfect. Ample portion of gyro meat with fresh onions, tomatoes and very tasty Tzatziki sauce and warmed pita. This is by far the best Greek I have had in Fort Myers and competitive with any in Chicago! I’ll be back.

Suburb service from overworked waitress. Food was excellent. The gyro meat in the Greek chow mein was to die for.

We just found this darling, tiny Greek restaurant. Tom was great helping with our food choices which were incredible!!! The appetizers were incredibly good, but filled up so much; we brought a lot of our dinner home. YUM! We made a reservation already to return next week with friends!!! That’s how great it was!!!

I had the spanakopita and my husband had the gyro platter. My spanakopita was the best I have ever had--different from the usual version and absolutely delicious. My husband was extremely pleased with his very(!) generous platter. I ordered a Nomiki's special Greek salad for one to go. It too was excellent, with a generous serving of potato salad underneath, in the middle--traditional, as I understand it, and rare these days. I don't think that they include it with the regular Greek salad. My salad was huge, and included pickled beets and chick peas. Nomiki's is larger than I expected it to be, with room for quite a few diners. It was busy at 11:30 on a Monday, so is popular. My only suggestion is that one not sit too near the music speakers. They did turn the Greek music down briefly for us.

If you are looking for authentic Greek food look no further. Nomiki’s is the best Greek food you will find. Our table had pastichio (amazing) pork souvlaki, gryo, Greek salad, saganki and spanakopita. Delicious pita bread as well. Everything was top notch. Topped off with a mythos beer, what could be better? I can’t wait to be back in the area to eat there again!! Thanks for a delicious meal you brought me right back to Greece! ??

I had the Gyros platter with side Greek salad, service was excellent, food was very good, one of the better Greek restaurants in SW Florida Recommended to the waitress paprika as a table condiment to shake on food. Detroit style.

Came in for an early dinner, and the place filled up fast as we dined. Watched our waitress give great friendly service to everyone in the room. Was happy when she told another table she was also Greek. Would love to go back again when next in town.

We went to this restaurant twice in the past three weeks. A family run business and everyone working there was so nice and accommodating. Food was excellent. We had an outstanding appetizer of zucchini. Pita bread fresh and warm. Chicken souvlaki so moist and tender. Delicious Greek salads. Gyro platters large and delicious. Home made baklava so incredible. We all love this restaurant. Highly recommend it.
