At first this seemed a nice little place for brunch while I waited for my Jeep to get repaired. The food was good & so were the employees. The owner on the other hand is a different story. Before I finished my meal, I got up to use the restroom. When I returned to my table, it had been completely cleared. I still had half of a glass each of my coffee & orange juice, bread, and hadn’t even touched my fruit yet. I wasn’t made. Shit happens. I was running short on time, I just asked them to credit me the amount of fruit. Since the fruit was apart of the meal, the OWNER (not manager, OWNER) said that they couldn’t do that, but they could give me a bowl. I’m on foot, as they knew. I said that wouldn’t work for me, & suggested a 10% discount. Being someone who has worked in hospitality for 25 years, I know quality customer service. If I mishap like this happens, you don’t waste a customer’s time with drama. Mind you, we’re talking about $2-3. I told him that this was horrible customer service, apparently I said the word shit, which, to him, equated to “cursing him out” & yelling. No, he was 100% attempting to gaslight me. He then doubled down that I was being extremely rude. Women know when men attempt to gaslight them. He then kicked me out & told me not to return. Fine by me, I’m not a local. Unfortunately, that meant that the server missed out on a good tip.
In all, this could be a Michelin 5* rated restaurant that was $200/plate & I’d still warn people away. Condescending & gaslighting customers is a terrible way to do business.
And before the owner tries to refute this, because he will, I will reiterate that I did not raise my voice & I was not rude. I’ll admit I said the word “shit”. I can also afford the meal at full cost plus a large tip. I wouldn’t have dined there otherwise. This was 1000% the principle behavior.

The hostess at this establishment, who had pink hair, displayed an attitude that came across as unprofessional and unnecessarily curt. As someone with a milk allergy I brought in my oat milk coffee since the restaurant does not provide non-dairy alternatives. Had those options been available, I would have gladly purchased my drink there. Unfortunately, instead of handling the situation with understanding, I was spoken to in a manner that felt dismissive. I expressed this to her in a respectful manner that her tone could have been softer and she rudely interrupted once again and became even more confrontational.
Over a $3.50 coffee the restaurant lost $50 of business as we chose to leave due to the way we were treated. What makes this policy even more concerning is that there is a coffee shop located right next door. It seems counterproductive to turn away paying customers over something so minor, especially when guests are likely to grab a coffee before breakfast if non-dairy options aren’t available?
As a fellow business owner, I would be deeply concerned if one of my employees spoke to a customer in the manner that she did. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as strong customer service and a little flexibility go a long way in building loyalty.

Disappointing Experience
We stopped by House of Omelets after grabbing coffee next door at Summer Moon, which is part of our usual travel routine—picking up our favorite coffee and then heading to a good breakfast spot. We hadn’t planned to eat here originally, but our toddler was getting hungry, and the place looked inviting.
We were greeted kindly by the host, who seated us promptly and even went out of her way to find a high chair for our child. We had our drinks from Summer Moon in hand, and there was no mention of any issue when we were seated.
Unfortunately, just as we were getting ready to place our order, we were told to leave because we had outside drinks. No warning, no polite conversation—just kicked out. We were shocked. As someone who has worked for years in the restaurant industry as a server and bartender, I’ve never seen a paying customer turned away over outside food/drinks especially not after being seated.
We ended up driving 10 minutes to our original breakfast spot, The Morning Bloom, with a screaming toddler in the backseat—an avoidable situation that put a damper on our morning.
If House of Omelets has a strict policy or an issue with Summer Moon, it would be helpful to post a visible sign at the entrance, instead of allowing guests to sit down and get comfortable before being asked to leave. This would avoid wasting everyone’s time and energy—especially families with young children.
We travel often and make it a tradition to find a signature coffee spot and a separate breakfast place wherever we go. This is the first time we've ever been treated this way—a real letdown in what seemed like a family-friendly place

I got the cheesesteak it lacked flavor. It lacked meat. And the bun was burnt on the bottom.
The waitress didn’t check on me for sometime . So I just ate it because I was starving.
My drinks sat empty until my meal was finished .
I’ve eaten at the cape location - dozens and dozens of times . I hope this place catches up.

Came into the restaurant and the first thing they did was correct my iced coffee that I got from the cafe next door, summer moon, and didn’t bother to give us their name or ask what to drink when they handed us the cup. Sat there for 15 more minutes, completely ignored. Don’t bother coming here

Oh the first time we went hubby love there lobster omelette and waffles. That we had to go back because he wanted to make sure it wasn't because he was hungry the first time that it tasted good. So now this is go to place for breakfast.. the staff all seems very nice and polite so from now it's 5star. Hopefully it don't change..

Remarkable service and exceptional food for breakfast and lunch. This restaurant was recommended by our car salesman Jim Pizzulo at Galeana Kia which happens to be adjacent to this Omlette House. Jim prides himself on eating only good quality food.
Thanks again Jim!

I walked in and was immediately disappointed by the lack of basic courtesy from the staff. There were four employees at the front, none of whom acknowledged me with a greeting or even eye contact. Instead, without any effort to assist, I was told to “grab a menu,” even though the menus were within arm’s reach of them.
This level of dismissiveness from multiple staff members reflects poorly on the restaurant’s standards for customer service. First impressions matter, and based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

My husband & I love this place. The servers are always so nice. They keep your coffee & drinks full. The portions are HUGE! The pancakes cover an entire plate. The egg dishes are always delicious. Their chicken salad is perfect. I've even had their burger and that was really good as well!
