Best fried chicken on my Cobb Salad ever! Everything made " scratch" except the kids' tenders; friendly, efficient team and quick service. Very good bleu cheese dressing. No room for dessert, will be coming back!

We recently dined at Ella Mai’s Diner in downtown Fort Myers inside the Luminary Hotel and had a mostly positive experience. I ordered the grilled cheese with tater tots—the sandwich had great flavor, but the generous amount of cheese made it a bit soggy. The tater tots, however, were crispy and delicious.
My friend went with the BLT and a side of broccoli, and she absolutely loved it, calling the sandwich one of the best she’s had. The broccoli was fresh and crisp, which was a nice touch.
The atmosphere was cozy, and our server was friendly, but the hostess felt a bit cold and unwelcoming, which didn’t make for the best first impression. That said, the prices were reasonable, especially considering the restaurant is inside the Luminary Hotel, a stunning location with beautiful views of the Caloosahatchee River.
Despite the minor issues, I’d definitely return to try more from the menu!
