Grimaldi's Pizzeria

Just ordered 2 pizzas for take out. We were given 2 old pizzas that look like they sitting on their counter all day. Rock hard cheese, cold and dry. We have eaten at the restaurant so I know what a fresh pie looks like, this was nothing comparable. Arrived 10 min before pick up time to make sure they would be hot. Beware on take out orders. $44 plus an $8 tip, ripped off.

Went to my favorite pizza place for lunch today at 130pm and we were seated immediately and they weren’t busy at all. We left because it was 150pm and no one even acknowledge us; No drinks, no bread, Nothing. I had a similar experience at Gramaldis a while back, but I chalked it up to them being busy and it was homecoming night. However, today there was no excuse for such poor service.

The food is alright, I wouldn’t say it’s bad but I also realized why it got shut down for a bit, brought someone named mep, and the service wasn’t the best and it was also pretty packed when we went and took a long time for food, 40+ minutes.

Never going back, pizza was made wrong and Amber one of the managers blame it on me. I made the pizza the right way. Also took longer to get pizza. Never going back

My husband and I dined in at Grimaldi’s tonight and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We started with the Mediterranean salad, which was fresh and tasty. For our main course, we ordered a 16” half Margherita and half veggie pizza. The Margherita side was decent, but the veggie side was soggy. Neither had much flavor, and we found ourselves adding quite a bit of red pepper flakes just to boost the taste.

Our waitress, Arianna, was excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional. However, the biggest concern was the hygiene practices we witnessed near the pizza prep area. Several servers were waiting around for pizzas, and one in particular was watching something on his phone, wiping his nose, then wiping his hands on his pants before handling pizzas — without washing his hands. Only one person in the prep area appeared to be using gloves.

This is absolutely unacceptable and unsanitary. Employees handling food should always wash their hands and wear gloves to ensure customer safety. This experience really impacted our impression of the restaurant and overshadowed what could have been a nice meal.

The pizza at this establishment is freshly made and uses top-quality ingredients. It is easy to see how the combination of great food and cold beer made this restaurant a favorite. Many people enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the delicious meals provided. The inviting experience is sure to bring people back for more tasty moments. This restaurant truly earned a five-star rating from those who visited.

I won't lie about my review. I thought about giving it 5 stars but the service was just typical and to me that won't merit a 5 star review. The food was excellent. Pizza gets cold fast thought being so thin so gobble it up fresh! Very nice food. Some of the best coal fire in the county. Capones coal fire pizza downtown is the only thing close to this pizza. I will definitely return.
