The atmosphere was welcoming and the service attentive. The duck croquets shared by two in our party were not our favorites, but every other part of the meal was amazing. One person had the mushroom soup and said that both the texture and flavor were wonderful. Two had a nightly special of three different fowls...pheasant, quail and guinie hen, , each with its own special sauce. There was nothing left on their plates! I had the salmon with cauliflower mash, which was perfectly cooked and attractively presented. Desserts were tempting, but we had no room for more food.
Excellent food service and the desserts are out of this world. Must try restaurant. It is a hidden gem!
Harold's never ceases to amaze us. The quality of food is second to none. The waitress we had was very friendly and knowledgeable. This place never disappoints
As always our dinning experience was outstanding. My wife had the 3 birds and I had the Kobe steak. both were excellent. Not only that but the way you are greeted and treated is very special. Caesar always comes over to talk for a moment and Harold always comes over as well. We enjoy sitting at the chefs counter and watch the chef (sorry forgot his name) prepare the desserts Every time we are in Fort Myers we have dinner there. The food as always is very good and creative, but the whole experience with the staff is what makes it special. Thanks Harold Bob and Marlee Hartline
Coming from Naples we decided to brave the 40 min drive try Harold's based upon it's creative menue offerings. Falls somewhat short in some important areas that w/dilligent attention may be corrected herewith. Service: "leisurely" lacking in the basics i.e. appropriate serving dishes & cutlery provided Food: Both my duck croquettes & swordfish were served cool to warm ... my preference would be warm to piping hot, the over abundence of cream sauces spoiled the accompaniements, but the fish was quite tender. My Dinner companion opted for the Veal chop, ditto on the tempature + "undercooked" also for $54 bucks another veggie would have been nice. The highlight was Heather's best efforts to make everything right, definitely appreciated. The affable innkeeper (Harold) was a gracious host, taking in our experience w/promises to correct w/haste our experienced misgivings
We always have a great meal at Harold's. Heather is top notch and the wine selection last night was so good! See you in November. Xoxo Patsy and Jody
I'll make it quick this time. Ask for TR he's a fantastic server and guides you to a delicious, wonderful food experience. We started with the smoked duck and the crab appetizers..both were delicious. Followed by the veal chop and Waygu filet....awesome! Then for desert coconut cake and key lime pie. After 27 years of dining in SWFL...absolutely the best food experience we've ever enjoyed. See you there !
First time and will definitely return. Food and service were excellent. Nice wine list and the menu had something for most everyone. Enjoyed chatting with Chef Harold. He is charming and made us feel like regulars! If you are looking for a chef driven restaurant that is very approachable please put this on your list.

In a world of mediocre restaurants, Harold's is Old School hospitality excellence in all aspects.
As always- our meal at Harold's was phenomenal; The food was delicious- well prepared and presented. The atmosphere and staff are warm and welcoming. I highly recommend
Yellowtail was cooked perfect and accompaniments were excellent. Scallops also were perfect with a great sauce.
Harold's is always good. Staff is friendly and food is always amazing. If I had one negative it was the Harold's Elixir drink special, it was pretty off this time.
