My wife and I died at Harold’s restaurant last week. We both agreed. This was one of the finest restaurant experiences we have had in any city of the world in our 25 years together. The menu was great, all the food is wonderful, the service is beyond excellent, It is so obvious that everyone working here cares deeply about working together as a team, to present the customer with the most personal and wonderful dining. I could not recommend it more highly

We have enjoyed dining there many times. The food is delicious! And the presentation is outstanding! This time however our waiter had a “fowl “ smell. Either horrible body spray or B.O. I was offended each time he came to our table. We will go back, but hopefully we'll have different server.
Booked a dinner for my mother's birthday. The feedback from my parents was food was great and the service provided was excellent.
Delicious meal for our group of 8. Appreciated the round table - so much better than a long rectangular table for our large group. Chris, our waiter, was excellent - answered all of our questions and was present when we needed him. Restaurant was a bit loud, but we anticipated this from other reviews. We will be back for sure!
Had one of those meals at Harold’s that you keep talking about days later. The kind where every single course hits.
From the first bite, it was clear this place is operating on a serious level. The grilled octopus was perfectly tender (no rubbery nonsense), and the combo of tomato, chickpea chorizo, garlic lemon aioli, and gnocco frito gave it this bold, savory-meets-bright balance that made us slow down just to appreciate it.
Then came the lobster corn dog! Which sounds playful but tasted straight-up refined. The lemon parmesan aioli and sriracha ketchup added just enough punch, and the 12 Seasons arugula kept it fresh instead of heavy. Total surprise favorite!!!
The salad with almonds, cherries, crispy goat cheese, and sherry was the ideal reset course sweet, tangy, crunchy, creamy… every bite different.
The entrées? !?! Unreal.
The Pacific sablefish with sweet potato pavé, white asparagus, and lobster hollandaise was silky, rich, and elegant without being overwhelming. And the grilled Wagyu NY strip with pomme dauphine and hunter’s sauce was pure comfort-meets-luxury. Perfect cook, deep flavor, and those sides were not an afterthought — especially the honeyed root vegetables.
Even the pasta Grandma’s house-made fettuccini Bolognese tasted like someone’s nonna just decided to go fine dining. Rich, slow-cooked, and deeply satisfying.
Desserts sealed the deal:
Coconut cake with dark rum anglaise and berries = moist, tropical, not overly sweet
Florida cheesecake with strawberries and whipped ganache = creamy, bright, and the perfect finish
Service matched the food attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm.
Bottom line: Harold’s is the kind of spot where creativity meets technique, and nothing on the plate feels random. It’s upscale without being pretentious, inventive without trying too hard, and absolutely worth a return trip. Total gem in Fort Myers.

Great dining spot. Weekly menu changes. Owner/chef came out to make sure all was as expected
Once again, an amazing experience! Party of six and everyone loved their dinner. Chef Harold know exactly how to prepare the entrees with the sides. Our server Heather was attentive, pleasant, knowledgeable and took her time to explain the specials and answers questions we asked. Highly recommend Harold's for a spectacular dinning experience.
1st experience & will absolutely return!! I had the Sablefish which was phenomenal, and my husband had the Antelope & loved it....not gamey at all. We will request Marcus, our waiter, again because he was exceptional!

I’m sitting here at Harold’s unexpectedly on my own. It’s been a while. As I sit here, I realize why this is one of the most popular and revered fine food restaurants in Fort Myers. I’ve been to several great Naples restaurants. But here you feel connected. You are engaged by the owner and the staff, as if you are a “regular” and welcomed as one. It goes along with the smaller town feel of Fort Myers, one of the reasons I moved here. I hope it doesn’t change!

I literally cannot get enough of this place! The menu is phenomenal! Every detail curated to make the perfect dish. It changes though- so make sure to get your favorite if you see it. Ive made it a point to try every version of his fois gras and each one gets better than the last. Not too many places you can get interesting cuts such as elk, antelope, rabbit, etc.
*** You gotta see Scotty too! That man makes the amuse bouche, your cold apps and the desserts--> The most interesting & flavorful bites you'll get this side of the state!!!

Before I praise this food let me shout out the service- from the sidewalk the door was already opened for us with three smiling faces.
Then we have Marcus as our server who is an absolute gem of a human and knows the menu up down backwards and sideways . It does not matter what you order - it will be amazing and they’ll tell you exactly how to pair your entire course down to the freshly infused water they made for service. We’re from NJ, my in laws moved down here so we come down always looking for the best places. Harold’s is.it.
Thank you Harold, Marcus, and the rest of the team for an amazing experience! Hope to be back soon
