I visited this establishment today, 4/4/24, with a friend. She ordered a bowl of potato soup and the Bratwurst with German potato salad, all of which were wonderful. I had the Jagerschnitzel (sorry if I spelled that wrong Hans) with potato dumplings and German egg noodles. It was beyond delicious. The portions were very big, and Hans, who is the owner, chef, and waiter, personally took our orders and checked on us periodically along with the very delightful waitress. We also took home some of their Black Forest cake, which, after tasting it, wish I would have bought more of to take home. This place is a hidden gem for German food!!! Just a heads up, if you decide to try this awesome restaurant for dinner, making reservations probably wouldn't be a bad idea. I will definitely be going back to try some more of their plentiful menu options.

Never a disappointing meal. You leave here beyond stuffed and satisfied! Everything is homemade and fresh! The beer cheese and giant pretzels are so delicious! German potato salad is the best I’ve ever had. Desserts are awesome, chocolate forest cake is out of this world good! Love being greeted by the owner himself who is in fact German and the lady who works there is as well is as sweet as can be! If you are looking for a a good home cooked German meal this is the place for you!Kid-friendliness: My picky 14 year old daughter and 15 year old daughter left happy and definitely willing to go back! If your child is picky, but atleast willing to try one bite, they will eat all the food here. So good!

We wanted to try some authentic German food and we found it! Really quaint place, owner was attentive and kind of funny, and best of all the food was really good. He told me they even make their own Mustard. I would definitely try this if you are into tasting culturally authentic cuisine.

Unfortunately this place was closed on a Friday at 1300hrs; scheduled? Roof replacement. Since it won't open until 1600hrs, there's always Heidi's restaurant further south on 41.

we had 2 curry wurst and 2 beer, $45 with tip, I grew up in Berlin till age 30 and had plenty of curry wurst, but never this bad, I also suggest to buy the potato salad at Publix, would be a big improvement, I have to admit, the beer was good.Parking: fine

Delicious authentic German food, excellent service, and great beer! A wonderful little slice of Bavaria in Fort Myers. Plus, they have a cuckoo clock. Do yourself a favor and come here.

I went to dinner with five people, I was the only one who didn't like their meal despite three of us being served the wrong sides. I love sauerbraten but mine was served with three slices of beef which I found dry and the gravy was extremely salty and tasted like it came out of a package. Again, everyone else enjoyed their meal but I won't be back.

Great German food! Super clean and well run. We had two different schnitzels and they were both fantastic. A true hidden gem.

What a find! We walked in the restaurant and immediately felt we were in Germany with the decor and music. The food was delicious and authentic, from the German draft beer, to the hand pounded schnitzel, to the homemade potato dumplings, to the bratwurst. Even the sauerkraut and Dijon mustard were homemade. The Apple strudel is a must for dessert! I would like to try the Black Forest cake on my next visit. 10/10 recommend coming here for dinner! This is an incredibly unique experience with amazing food. Remember to make a reservation and seating is limited.

We discovered this place because I was craving German cuisine one day! I'm AMAZED by how delicious the food is! Every element of your chosen dish is handmade with love! It's our new favorite place to get our dose of comfort food and we always leave with a huge smile on our faces! It feels like visiting family! Now pardon me I ate so much I need a nap! Zzzzz.
