Needed to go down to this location to bury my father and arrange settlement of his obligations. I stayed at this hotel from 18-21 March 2024.My father left me with what few valuable he had, one of which was his collection of silver proof sets and silver dollars. Having to make short term arrangements and the duration of time that I was required to be there, I only took and over night bag/suite case.Well he had a semi nice collection of coins that were in a locked box. I transferred those over to my suite case and was really concerned about being able to travel back with them due to weight limitations etc. In addition, he had two unopened bottles of Paris #1 Perfume. I left those purposely for the house keeping staff as I could not fit them in my luggage.Wednesday night when I packed, I must have left 4 individual boxed uncirculated silver dollars. Once I returned home and realized I had left them there I contacted the hotel and let them know. Well no surprise, of course they said they were not in the room. But surprisingly, neither were the bottles of perfume that I purposely left.According to one of the managers there (will omit his name for privacy purposes), there policy is that all left property is placed into lost and found. Well this is a "no brainer", however its not what you know, but what you can prove. The coins had more sentimental value then they were worth, but if you are traveling its nice to know that where ever you are staying would be safe and limit the amount of criminal activity on there staff. In todays times with the amount of illegals crossing the border, I would venture that this would be an excellent place for ICE to visit. If you are that disparate to stay there please look after your belongings and DO NOT leave anything valuable in the room. Housekeeping as far as I am concern are a bunch of thieves. Who ever cleaned room 320 the morning of the 21st should be ashamed of themselves. I would be compelled to believe that the items were not in there had they at least turned in the perfume. Obviously they had no idea that I had left the perfume for them. This particular hotel is an LLC and I tried to find what other hotels they own/operated. Never will stay there again.I even filed a police report for what it was worth.Safety: Lock anything of value in your car DO NOT Leave in room. Triple check before you leave/checkout, you WILL NOT get it back and the managerial staff are complacent with employees of this qualityNoteworthy details: Lock all valuables in your car. Leave NOTHING of value in the room house keeping staff are a bunch of thieves particularly the staff member who cleaned room 320 the morning of the 21st of March 2024

Came down to Fort Myers for a work trip. They booked me this hotel.. I had to check out early and go elsewhere. The hotel has homeless people around their parking lots. The rooms were outdated. Small TV, old furniture, and noisy bed. People were yelling on the 3rd floor basically from midnight up until 5am. There was throw up on the hallway floor as well. The wifi was horrible for my work laptop. Only upside was the 2 employees I dealt with were super nice.

Convenience to downtown but immediate neighborhood isn't great. Seemed to be a lot of local construction workers using hotel and. Rooms may have been recently remodeled.

This is the worst Holiday Inn I’ve ever been to by far. I am a loyal IHG customer, and Holiday Inns are my hotel of choice when I travel for work. This hotel should lose its branding. The pictures are completely deceptive. My room smells like feet and mold. When it rains, it rains inside of my room from the AC unit to the point that half the carpet in my room is soaking wet. The WiFi signal is so weak I can only use it when I stand by the room door. The hot water heater has been broken for 4 days, meaning you are forced to take ice cold showers, and it’s as if the hotel staff feel that hot water is a luxury at an IHG property rather than a necessity. 4 days! By that amount of time, you’d think they’d offer to rebook you at another hotel, but that would require them to care about the comfort of their guests. This property is a stain on the IHG brand. I am appalled.

David is a shining beacon of hope within corporate America, filled with automated calls, off shore call centers, and burnt out, forgotten employees, working for huge corporations. King suite here is the cleanest, most well kept room I’ve ever seen in the states for this price point. Staying here and meeting such a kind soul like David really gives me hope that the American hotel industry could stand a fighting chance- if there were more GMs and regional managers like David, who could train and prepare employees, the hotel industry could really put the filthy, unregulated air bnb industry back to where it belongs… a last minute fallback option when the quality alternatives are unavailable. We gave up on the Holiday Inn brand, but this really changes our outlook for the future of the company

very basic and lower class hotel, but clean beds. however, you should not expect more when visiting this hotel. good for one night to visit fort myers. surroundings not very trustworthy even around the hotel. unfortunately, everything was closed on december 25th and we had to go out to eat at another hotel which is not tourist friendly.

The workers are friendly, but the rooms need updating.

Great service. Great location. The pictures on the website were misleading. The rooms are disappointing. The furniture was damaged, towels dingy, water pressure low, slow drainage in tub. I was in room 212. It has a view of the pool. It has two beds. One is ok. The other needs a new mattress. You roll to the middle. My husband and I slept like taco meat. If you have a bad back, I wouldn't recommend it. There's no carpet in the room, which is different. The hotel was quiet at night. The restaurant breakfast was great. I hope this helps.Rooms: The furniture was damaged, towels dingy, water pressure low, slow drainage in tub. I was in room 212. It has a view of the pool. It has two beds. One is ok.
