Located in the Banyan hotel concourse, I walked here to pick up supper from my hotel. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and placing my order was easy. When I got my sushi and seaweed salad back to my hotel I was amazed by the attention to presentation which is rarely considered with takeout orders. The sushi was some of the best I’ve had and the location included utensils and napkins automatically which was appreciated. I plan to return tonight it was such an enjoyable meal.

Always amazing, love the staff. Great for dine in or take out.You must try the Volcano Eruption. The Caterpillar Roll is great too!We don't often try crab rangoon because most places are bland, but not here, delicious, crispy, fresh and you can actually taste the crab.
This place is a diamond in the rough downtown. The only thing missing are hibachi tables. Would love to see them expand and offer hibachi style dining.

I’m from NY & thought Chinese food was Chinese food. Moved around the country the past few years for work & have traveled extensively around as well for work. I discovered for the most part Chinese food sucks outside of the NYC area, you may luck out here & there. If you’re from NY you will not be disappointed with Ichiban in downtown Ft Myers it’s as good or better than your favorite place back home.I go here weekly with my mother, we start with the egg drop soup, which is AMAZING! I haven’t been disappointed by anything on the menu yet! I met my mother for lunch today at about 1:30pm, I hadn’t eaten anything before. I was looking forward to some egg foo young. The waitress said it wasn’t on the lunch menu but they’d be more than happy to make it for me! I wish I took a pic, it was a huge plate of 3 egg foo young patties. They were about as thick as a burger, maybe thicker! This may have been the best egg foo young I’ve ever eaten in the country!

Ichiban has been a favorite dining destination in downtown Ft Myers for many years. I personally recommend you give them a try if not already familiar with their routinely great food and service!
This is a good local sushi joint I like where it's located it feels like it's in the middle of a big city the food it's good not super unique but classic USA

Normally my go to take out in DTFM , went to sit down on a Saturday night around 1809 and it wasn’t busy. Even though not busy server came by us once and got our order in and never came back. Till we asked to get our food to go since it was taking 30+ minutes. Server replied “well your food just came out so I have to serve it” so then we asked for boxes. We put our food in ourselves and I had to wait at counter for 10 mins to check out. The server then said “you don’t have to tip but since I put the food on table you should” I am ALL for tipping but this comment was way outta pocket. Next time sticking to take out.
We just eat here, food was great! Place is small and very nice and clean. We will be back.
