Nothing else to be said. Product is good.
****EDIT****
It takes a breathtaking amount of immaturity and unprofessionalism to tell customers to “get help.” I said product is good. But giving it 3 stars means it’s an attack??? Yikes. I thought 3 was fair. But I’m changing it to 1 due to their insane behavior.
My original review was measured and even complimentary about the product. In response, the owner dismissed my concerns about biased, xenophobic comments as “something I didn't like” and made personal attacks. Telling customers to “get help” is simply shocking.
This kind of immature, defensive reaction is NOT what customers should expect from a professional business… let alone one l've supported for years. I am incredibly disappointed.
Where to begin… well first - the owners are unprofessional, rude, and will protect racists and get upset at you if you bother standing up for yourself and try to resolve a situation with maturity. I tried my best to resolve the situation, but instead of handling this like a grown adult, they instead resorted emotionally immature reactive behavior. I left a THREE STAR review and their response was to throw out accusations, make up false allegations about my private life and more. THEN, when I FINALLY HAD ENOUGH! I wrote a post about it. What did they do? HARASS MY FRIENDS. My friends that don’t know them and don’t support their business. Yet they want to claim that I need help? Because I refuse to tolerate their double standards and because I demanded accountability? Gross.
the vibe is not what it used to be, the same old owner’s got worse. don’t get me wrong, the drinks are good and the aesthetic is nice so it should be a chill place to go but the regulars are loud and vulgar. this dude next to us was singing loudly about “ballsacks” while my friend and i are trying to have a conversation and the old white dude behind the counter was yelling across the bar at a girl to “show her tits”. seriously? i know it’s hard out here in this economy so i’m not one to leave reviews for no reason but if i was new to kava bars i would be totally put off. you’re better off going to kava culture downtown or on fmb, a lot of the kava bars in fort myers are taken over by republicans i miss when they stuck to the dive bars
Kava is strong and atmosphere is awesome 👌
Great place! Great people! Amazing service from all the staff, and just and overall wonderful experience!
Kapua has a very welcoming and friendly vibe. Their menu for kava and kratom drinks is quite large, and they even have food items available. I had a kava shell and a kratom tea. Both of these were high quality and prepared well. There are drinks for both beginners and experienced kava and kratom drinkers. I’ll be back the next time I visit!
Options! Peace of Mind!
Exceptional service, tasty drinks, relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for a chill spot you are in the right place.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot to unwind in Fort Myers, this kava bar is a great choice. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They offer a variety of drinks, including kava and herbal teas, perfect for relaxing and socializing. Whether you’re meeting friends or just need a peaceful place to recharge, this is a fantastic spot to visit.
I was visiting from West Palm Beach and am very picky about my kava and kratom products from a kava bar. This place was outstanding! Also the service was better than most with Destiny. She was patient with me to go through the menu to find exactly what I'd based on what I drink at my home bars.
I had a Kraken which was kava with powdered gold reserve kratom extract. Also had a Razzle tea which they brew white, green and red leaf with fruit/fruit teas. This is unsweetened and delicious!

I visited Kapua on Sunday evening, March 9th about 7:30pm. I live close to the Bell Tower and have been there several times before without incident. My friend called and said he’d be there, so we met up. He was already drinking a kava when I got there. I sat down and we stated talking. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to drink since I had just finished a full meal, so I started with water. At about 8:30, the owner approached me and said I had to order a drink. I politely said no thank you, I wasn’t feeling it tonight. I've never been there before without ordering a drink. She was very rude and demanded I order or leave, even though my friend had a kava and a brownie. I've never been treated so rudely before. I was stunned that someone could treat a return customer so poorly and disrespectfully. My friend and I left very embarrassed and slighted. We've both been there several times…very confusing. I've been to several Kava bars in the area and have always had I good time. It's supposed to be a good place to chill with friends and enjoy good drinks and convo, not harassment!
Best kava bar around hands down. Owners and kava tenders are all amazing. Drinks are creative and very good. Put this place on your must stop by list
My sister and I came in tonight to try this kava bar. We had been to some kava bars in California so we were excited to try this out. We immediately were greeted with a nasty attitude from the kavatender and felt like any questions we asked were responded to with condescension. When she served us our drinks, mine was half full, which I assumed was normal, but decided against asking why this was because of the cold attitude we were given. Also, the kava did not give the same effects as what we are used to back in California, so other than the taste, it was not worth the money. We were nothing but kind and eager to give the kava a try, unfortunately, this encounter left a bad taste in our mouths and we will not be back.
Young server was ok but older server with white short hair was completely rude and insulting to us. Made us feel uncomfortable and leave even after we purchased 2 drinks
As a newcomer to the area, I have been exploring various places to work and study, and I was drawn to this Kava Bar due to its proximity to my home. Having visited other Kava Bars in Fort Myers, I typically appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and community engagement.
Upon entering, I was impressed by the beautiful decor and was eager to experience what this establishment had to offer. However, my experience took an unexpected turn when the staff member who approached me expressed concerns about my age. I understand the need for age verification, the manner in which this was handled made me feel uncomfortable. The staff lady asked several invasive personal questions regarding my residence and purpose for being in the area, which felt intrusive given the context.
When I requested a non-stimulate beverage in the meantime so I can focus on my work, such as mango or guava juice, I sensed impatience from the staff. Ultimately, I opted for guava juice as a way to contribute to the establishment while I focused on my work. However, I was informed that I needed to order a drink at least every hour if I intended to use the space for studying because it wasn’t a “hangout spot.” I noticed the older patron over my hour did not receive any of this treatment and were free to sip and chat.
This experience left me feeling disheartened and unwelcome. I believe it may be beneficial for the staff to consider a more accommodating approach when interacting with younger/new patrons. While I appreciate the establishment's policies, I may choose to explore other locations that align more closely with my expectations for a supportive environment.
*Looking at other comments I notice that the lady I encountered is very unkind to young persons in general, I am not unique. Also I am 22*
