Kava Bar is always a great vibe. Great people are attracted to this place, lots of regulars, chill people, friendly & kind, great drinks, lots of events each month. It’s a great third space for community and connection. Friendly staff and good drinks!!

My sister and I visited Kava Nirvana over Thanksgiving break after it was highly recommended by a friend who frequently visited before moving away. Unfortunately, our experience with a staff member named Kat was not only disappointing but also deeply upsetting and even traumatic for us both. On two separate occasions while ordering beverages, Kat’s attitude toward us was dismissive, overtly condescending, and unnecessarily aggressive. She seemed visibly bothered when interacting with us and exhibited an extremely nonchalant approach, which left us feeling unwelcome, disrespected, and uncomfortable.

What should have been a relaxing and enjoyable visit turned into a distressing experience due to her rude and unprofessional demeanor. Despite the positive reputation of Kava Nirvana, Kat’s behavior has sadly left us with a lasting negative impression that overshadowed what we had hoped would be a great outing.

Kat certainly needs customer service training or should honestly consider another role where this type of attitude is not a concern. Highly disappointed.

Ive been here several times, usually for the Friday night pool tournament. But today I stopped in around 1230 while I waited for my gf who was getting knee surgery down the road.

I feel compelled to write this because I was very impressed with the service provided by Matt. He was very personable and had an obvious great rapport with all the other patrons. I told him what kind of drink I like trusted him to concoct something delicious.

Honestly, it was probably the best kava/kratom drink I've ever had. And the whole time I was there Matt was very attentive and engaging with everyone. The vibe was chill and exactly what (in my opinion) a kava bar should have.

Laura, this man deserves a raise! (Lol no he did not ask me to say that).

This is basically my 2nd home. It's a family friendly spot but ideal for people between the ages of 20 to 30. If you're a 90s kid, you'll get a lot of nostalgia walking in here.

Everyone is amazing. Joe runs the place and he greets you with open arms. The same can be said about the Kavatenders. Kat, Matt, and Nick are Rockstars. Come here if you want the best Kava/Kratom mixed drinks in Fort Myers!

I have been coming to Kava Nirvana for a few months and it's become like a home away from home. The kava tenders (Matt, Kat, Josh and Nick) are awesome, personable, and fun. They all make you feel right at home and welcome and are super attentive. The drinks are great quality and fairly priced. Pets are welcome and when I've brought my kids here they make them feel welcome also. They also have darts night, trivia and pool night. Really fun environment and greay business. ☺ They now offer a food option on several days .

Kat is a savage. Made the best drink ever love ever thing

As someone who has been to numerous kava bars, it's disheartening to experience an owner with no customer service skills or respect.
It's one thing to remind customers of a rule, like ordering within 30 minutes, but it's another to be rude and assume a customer is loitering.
Rules should always be communicated when a customer arrives, as they may not be aware.

I'm grateful my usual kava bars focus on community-building rather than harassing people and solely focusing on profit margins.

* This seems to be a common issue for you, as I was neither sleeping nor lying on any couch.*

I literally want to travel back just to hang out. I'm from Michigan and came across this place on a walk. And wow..
.the staff is soooooo nice!!!!! The people are so cool I honestly didn't want to leave. Drinks were amazing! Wish you guys were in Michigan!

IMMACULATE pool table (free), board games, great layout and decorating and very clean.

Kratom and Kava are simple, strong enough, and reasonably priced.

Staff and regulars are very welcoming and approachable, easy to strike up conversation here. The layout is great for socializing and moving around. I had a mediocre experience at another kava bar nearby and came in at 11pm anxious, tired, and expecting to be let down. Kat immediately made me feel welcomed and was very attentive. I felt right at home after less than an hour. Great spot to bring a laptop and headphones or to shoot the breeze and smoke a joint out front.
