Koto Grill Sushi & Hibachi

Fantastic food, fantastic service, Great atmosphere and I enjoyed every minute.

This experience was a complete disapointment.

I made a reservation for 2 at 7pm and when we got there we waited so long that me and my significant other contemplated if it was even worth eating there. It’s not like we were waiting for a table either because the restaurant is so small you can clearly see 3 open spots abailable and ready to seat us. The main reason we had to wait was due to the 3 workers not being able to see 2 new customers standing right at the door way saying “excuse me” as they passed us by multiple times. It’s not even the wait though that made it unbearable, but the complete disregard for the 2 people standing infront of you was just off.

When we finally did get seated it was right under the world’s coldest A/C vent, which wouldn’t usually be a major problem if you had food in front of you to distract you from it, but the main hot meals took almost a whole hour to get out. If your waiting in winter wonderland for a hot meal, the hot meal won’t feel that hot when it get’s there. It got to the point that as soon as the meals finally did get to the table, I had to immediately ask for to-go boxes since me and my partner were in no condition to sit down and eat.

Now the waiter did tell us that the food may take awhile, but that was after we were finally seated! Why couldn’t you inform us of that before you sat us down and got us reading the menu to order?!?!?
If you would have told me that when we entered, I would have still had time to pick out a different restaurant and my neutral opinion of this one would still be preserved.

In regards to the main meals, they were no better. All the food came out oily and rubbery and you can tell it was rushed. Don’t get me wrong I’ll still eat it, but damn for the price of the dishes you would think that it’s well prepared. Unfortunately it’s not. In the end, the food and atmosphere really gets you thinking that whatever the rating of this place is, it’s truly overrated.

Now listen… I’ve never been known to be a picky person when it comes to food service. You can be slow paced or not that tasty or expensive as hell and it would be fine with me, but for god’s sake pick one and one only!!!! You can’t possibly have all these issues and expect a decent review. Come on guys do better.

Parking: If you have trouble parking near it you can park across the street. It’s the easiest way when the closest ones are full.

I’ve had a lot of ramen all across the country. The bowl of tonkotsu ramen that I got here at Koto may have been the best bowl of ramen I’ve had so far. The noodles were the most flavorful noodles I’ve ever had, the pork was nice and savory and not too chewy, and I always love a good seasoned egg… it was to die for. I’m not a big fan of broth, but I ended up drinking as much of it as I could. We also got the gyoza appetizer, I loved how the dumplings just fell apart as you ate them. I’ve had plenty of dumplings where the inside is so put together, but you could tell these ones were fresh. My husband got three different sushi rolls and loved each one of them. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you, Koto!!

This sushi and sashimi spot offered friendly service and quick food delivery. I ordered the sashimi deluxe plate, which boasted a nice variety of fish with good-sized, well-plated cuts.

However, while visually appealing, the fish lacked distinct flavor. It wasn't bad, but it didn't taste particularly fresh, which is often a sign of less-than-ideal fish quality.

Overall, it was an okay experience, with good service but the fish itself could have been better.

The food was great, but the service was terrible!
I had a waiter named Sunny, she never gave us a smile, she was kind of irritated if I ask her something from the menu that she wouldn’t understand Because I assume English, it’s not her first language. Sometimes person can kill a great place! I think to serve people you have to like it or make it look like you do.
And it’s not like she was tired I’ve been the only person in the whole restaurant!

Hi I am a black female that went to this company for a table of 5 I was told 20 minutes as me and my party wait I noticed 20 minutes had passed. I called them as me and my family was sitting in the car waiting only for the young Chinese lady to say 30 to 35 minute wait and proceeded to say they don’t have a table for 5 racist restaurant!

Sushi was ok. Rice had a weird aftertaste and the spicy edamame was just edamame with sriracha sauce on it. Super nice workers though!

I came here today and so far one of the best experiences ever, like not even exaggerating it was the best, obviously the service was the best the waitress was so nice, and the atmosphere was amazing and clean and in general a Vibe and now the BEST part was THE FOOD like holy moly it was DELICIOUS Not only was it delicious the food came out nice and fast by far best dine in experience I’ve ever had in my whole life 10/10!!!

Overpriced, under seasoned, bland food. Sushi was decent, but while eating, I noticed the sushi bar chef pick his nose with gloves on... They play a Japanese windchime noise over the speakers, and it sounds awful because of speaker quality.
