Everything tasted fresh and delicious, service was also excellent!
La Ola Surfside Bell Tower Shops 3-29-25 Stopped by on around 11:15a on a Saturday. We were the first people in to sit at a table. This place was clean, neatly organized and gave us a beachy vibe with all the Reggae music playing throughout. Janet our waitress came over fast and took our drink orders. Once our drinks were delivered, she took our food orders. I ordered the Fish & Chips which came with Fried Fish, Fries & Coleslaw. My wife ordered the Lobster Roll which came with Lobster on a Toasted Bun with Lettice and for her side she got the Coleslaw. Our orders came out in reasonable time and all our food looked amazing. My Fish was light and not heavy on the breading just how I like it. I loved the fish and Tartar Sauce that came with it. The Fries were very good and even the Coleslaw was good as it had some Pineapple in it. My wife loved her Lobster Roll and Coleslaw. She is from Maine and stated it was one of the best Lobster Rolls she had in this area so far. All our food was hot and plenty of it. Janet kept on top of things checking on us a bunch of times. We will return here or stop by Ft. Myers Beach location as to try them all. Everyone needs to stop by and give this place a try you will not be sorry. I must give this place a 5 out of 5 stars for the good food, great service, and beachy vibes. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Follow Me On FB For More Reviews Gulf Coast Terry

We ate at the bar.Service was friendly and pleasant. The tuna tower was very good, the bacon wrapped shrimp (4) was nice but over cooked, shrimp was very tough . The lobster bits were tasty but we didn't care for the coating, had a funky flavor.
Order the "Lucy in the sky burrito to go. Buyers be ware,as most non-mexican restaurants if they say there's rice in the listing, what you'll get is a rice burrito, very
little protein and I still haven't found the cheese.
Too bad,but I won't be back and look forward to a replacement at this location.

Whoever the boss lady is literally dictating what the servers do and how they seat people should take a step back, since all she was doing was pretty much pushing them outta the way to do it herself. Firstly, when we walked in there were plenty of tables but the (same) boss lady made the server clean a dirty table while we stood and watched, and couldn’t sit until he swept, wiped, and took dishes away. Finally we are sat, we order drinks, but you cannot veer from the already provided drink menu, so they do not have an open bar. Got our drinks, the recommended fruit margarita (I just wanted a blackberry marg on the rocks) was pretty much just blended fruit with maybe a shot, I couldn’t even taste it, it wasn’t even sweet for how much fruit was blended into it. Now for the food, prices are a bit high for such mediocre food, we ordered pulled pork tacos —no sauce or pulled pork flavor, tropical fish tacos—most definitely freezer burnt and so fishy it was unbearable, the pineapple mango salsa was just fruit with tomato’s and onions, and finally we got teriyaki garlic wings —pretty much just soy sauce and garlic mixed up. The wing sauce was so overall salty my mouth felt burned after eating.

Came here for the first time tonight with my boyfriend for a date and, wow! We weren’t expecting too much, but this restaurant absolutely exceeded our expectations. Service was great (our server was Laura!), the live music and ambiance was awesome, and most importantly.. the food was deliciously amazing!! I was blown away by my salmon. Also, can’t forget, the cocktails we had were so yummy. 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be back!

La Olas is one of our favorite hangouts on the beach. Great food, great drinks and great service all while sitting a few steps from the gulf of mexico. Some of the best live music on the island to complete a perfect setting 🥰
Great food and wonderful service..Definitely going again!!

I have lived in Fort Myers for more than 20 years. As a Brit, I love ‘fish and chips’.
This restaurant has the best I have ever had in America where I have now lived since 1984 (40 years)! Well done David (General Manager).

The Bell tower area seems to be so sleepy, the one nice lunch with the tropical twist. Went here for the first time today with a friend and had a wonderful experience! Good good, great service and I highly recommend the cucumber mint martini.
