We stopped here for an early dinner. The staff seated us promptly and got our drink order going. The place has a nice Florida vibe atmosphere. I had some wings (hot) which were pretty good. I wasn’t a fan of the blue cheese dressing. My wife had the Haddock fish dinner which she said the fish was very good. I took a pic of her food, but it was too blurry to post. We dined here on 11/22/25.

Not a good experience today, beer was not cold, Margaritas came in a soda tumbler and was very sour. Could not finish it. Chicken wrap was dry and fell apart. French Fry's were not hot

My mother, aunt and I ate at the Lazy Flamingo in Fort Myers, FL and it was a very good experience. One had the baby back ribs, another had fried fish, and I had the fried oysters, all of it was very good. The oysters were probably the best I’ve ever had: fried perfectly and absolutely delicious.

We did have a small mix-up with my order. I had originally ordered fried shrimp because I was worried the oysters might be milky, but I ended up getting fried oysters by mistake. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise because the oysters were incredible. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she said she was 100% certain I ordered oysters and she had taken my order correctly. I just wanted to let her know how amazing the oysters were after all. I wasn’t looking for reimbursement or a fix. She could have handled the situation better.

The restaurant is very clean, and the decor is lovely. I was born and raised in Fort Myers and had never eaten here before, but I will definitely be back!

It was a Wednesday night we arrived at 6:30. We waited over an hour to get our food it was servedat 7:45.. Two of us had a chicken sandwich with onion rings and clam chowder soup. The soup was fabulous and the onion rings were cooked perfectly. My chicken sandwich was dry and over cooked. I couldn't eat it all I kept choking it was that dry. My buddy caught a fish and had them prepare it for two of us. The the fish was burnt. My buddy ate it but wasn't happy. If I come back to the island I'm not sure if I'd give it another try.

Cool place. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was excellent. Interesting sauce came on it that I enjoyed. The fries were excellent, seasoned and crispy! Good Bloody Mary too! Sat in the back with open air!

Today was my Birthday all I wanted have chicken wings and beer chicken wing was like rubber and tasteless.condiments comes in to go plastic cup instead china cups. My wife ordered as a appetizer salsa ,chips comes in a china plate but salsa(taste like from can ) comes in foam cup that is most unhealthy cups also I didn’t order to take out I order to eat in restaurant 🤷🏻. Also my wife ordered Grouper Bites that wasn’t pleasant either it was smelling like rotten frozen .Even Flea market has better food than this restaurant . It’s too bad I will never go back this place again

Zero Stars if I Could Give Them:
The Lazy Flamingo isn’t just bad—it’s a full-blown catastrophe masquerading as a restaurant. Walking in, you’re greeted by moldy AC ducts dripping water all over you—because apparently, sanitation and comfort are optional here. The staff? Completely useless. Everyone is either staring at their phones or glued to the football game, pretending you don’t exist. Good luck getting them to notice your order or even glance your way.

We asked for extra extra crispy chicken wings, fully prepared to wait. What arrived? Soggy, limp, disgraceful excuses for wings. When we pointed it out, we were told, “That’s our crispy chicken wings,” as if soggy chicken is a culinary innovation. Want them done properly? Prepare to wait over 20 minutes while they somehow drag the cooking process into another dimension.

I feel genuinely bad for the owner, if they somehow think this level of incompetence is acceptable. This place is a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant: untrained cooks, indifferent staff, soggy food, and a damp, moldy environment. Do yourself a favor—avoid this nightmare disguised as a dining spot unless you enjoy soggy chicken, zero service, and the aroma of mildew with your meal.
