Had high hopes…We had the grouper basket. $20 + for 4 small pieces of grouper. They were out of conch fritters so we had the jalapeño poppers that were old tasting. SIL had steak sandwich that was a smal chunk of tough meat over cooked and not even sliced. The best part was the “good ice” and Mr. Pibb. Server was great but the food took about an hour but not good at all. I do not recommend. Sorry.

Cute place, might be fun for some drinks. Our food was awful. Ordered coconut shrimp which had zero flavor and were overcooked, so what I got was 6 curled up balls of rubber. Clam chowder also needed seasoning.

We went here because the reviews were good. However It's a dingy little spot kinda dirty and run down to start. But many places in Florida have that vibe and are excellent so we decided to try it out. Out of the gate the server had no idea what a Rum Runner was. Jalapeno poppers were excellent, but this is where the food stopped being good. The wings were overly greasy and the buffalo sauce is just basic hot sauce, if your gonna serve buffalo wings learn how to make good buffalo sauce. The grouper sandwich was super spicy and fell apart at first bite, 20 minutes after eating it my wife was in the bathroom throwing up, literally. The burger was decent but again fell apart a few bites in so it became a meaty goopy mess. On the positive the severs were very friendly and the atmosphere was a cool local vibe which is always fun. Maybe it was just an off day but we did not have a good experience at the Lazy Flamingo.

It is very hard to go to Lazy Flamingo and not get grouper. The other food is good but something just keeps calling me back to the grouper. We like to eat outside on the covered porch. We have a lot of good memories with friends there.

Best happy hour I'm town! 3-6pm with lots and apps on sale as well as beer and wine. Fun atmosphere and staff is friendly and attentive. Good place to watch the game. Always busy. Always had a good meal here.Parking: If you can't park in their lot. Just across the way is shopping center parking.
