Liberty - Alternative American Restaurant

We traveled in and found this restaurant on Resy. We didn’t know what to expect, and this dining experience was more than I could have ever asked for.

Richee has created one of the most appealing, delicious and well executed menus I’ve ever had. My wife and I have tried tasting menus, Michelin starred restaurants and meals from world famous chef’s kitchens. Liberty was as good or better than most of those meals.

Atmosphere is great, service is relaxed and fun, and the food will blow you away!

We had an amazing time at Liberty in Fort Myers. We ordered basically everything on the menu, and every single dish was outstanding. The flavors were spot-on, beautifully crafted, and clearly made with care.

One of the coolest parts is that you can actually watch them cook — it adds such a fun, unique energy to the experience and really showcases how much passion goes into every plate.

The service was just as impressive — attentive, friendly, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great time. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service hit this level of quality, but Liberty absolutely delivers.

If you’re looking for a spot in Fort Myers that feels special from start to finish, Liberty is definitely it. Highly recommend!

Incredible food, eclectic, small and cozy, creative, labor-intensive dishes, and a show to boot. Small tasting menu, so you get to order several and try things. If you’re adventurous and appreciate a chef that is the same, you’ll love it.

If I could leave a 10 star review I would, the food is absolutely amazing and out of this world. This is a must go to spot when in town or for a date night! Friendly smiles with a great atmosphere.

Everything about this place is 5 stars. My husband and I went there for the first time on Saturday and were blown away by the food quality and also their service. There is no place in Lee county like this little hole in the wall. The chef is amazing and interacted with us all while cooking the most amazing food. The girls that were servicing us were also so amazing and attentive. We will be going back to taste their ever changing menu!

Everything was 5/5 but we were particularly pleased with the gnocchi, tacos, pork belly, cauliflower, and smoke wagyu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Literally blown away with how good this place was. My gf and I have eaten at a good number of the local fine dining establishments, new and old in Ft. Myers, and Liberty is legit the best. We had 5 absolutely fantastic dishes, and a cookie for dessert, all of which were cooked to perfection. I’m genuinely shook with how good this place was. We will definitely be back.

I visited this place a couple weeks ago and it was just awful. Do not go there. I think I got food poisoning.

Every bite of food was incredible (coming from two foodies who have eaten around the world )!! Our server was wonderful and attentive. It’s clear the whole staff works as a team. Wonderful food and experience. Can’t wait to come back again!
