Numerous visits through the summer, wonderful. Went for dinner at last night, three of us, not so great. Order drinks and was told immediately what was no longer on the menu. We ordered, three of us, the lobster bisque which is ordinarily out of this world. Then an order of muscles, my friend white, me too. The lobster bisque came and we immediately realized it was sour. Still no drinks. Then the muscles came, my friends was white, mine was red. Decided not to complain. Got to admit mine was delicious but the bread that was served with it could've broken your teeth. My friends white sauced muscles had no garlic and when she asked about it she was told it was a licorice Recipe, no clue what that means.
Long story short, something's going on with this restaurant. We will not return.

Went in for drinks and dinner at the bar. Waited for the bartender to come over to take our order waited over 10 minutes but he was too busy doing nothing. Ordered a beer and waited on menu he finally came over put the menu on the counter and walked away. Service was horrible . Got so fed up we left without eating and we weren’t the only ones who left without dinner. Other people were just annoyed with eating at the bar. It use to be a better experience. Very disappointing.

Textbook definition of an amazing restaurant!

There were ZERO things wrong with this place. It was an absolute dream to dine here.

The atmosphere is upscale but laid back. Cool music playing, beautiful view of the water, and an over classy dining room that made you feel really special.

Our server was incredibly attentive, our drinks were amazing and food was unforgettable. The Cajun Seafood Bowl was a trip to New Orleans with a spoon!

Really great experience!

Service was quick and friendly. They explained the dishes well and were attentive to us. It was a business lunch so the quiet atmosphere worked perfectly so we could have our discussions.

Used to love the LH! I’ve been a regular since moving here just over 5 years ago. Happy hour is over at 5. Sure it starts at 11 or noon, I’m not sure, but I rarely drink that early. Every restaurant I know in a 10 mile radius, has a HH that extends till 6 pm. At least show us regular year round patrons some love and extend it to 6 or even 7 off season. Till they do, they will lose me to other businesses. I urge others to speak up with their “feet” or a review as I have.

Additional comment. I’m very disappointed to see the Lighthouse owners have added a credit card use fee in the restaurant. I do not know if it is applied at the bar. This fee is ridiculous, it should be buried in the food costs. The owners are taking advantage of the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian, as many other coastal restaurants have been destroyed. I get it. It’s business, supply, demand. But as a year round client my visits will be far fewer, especially off season.

Invited to a birthday dinner recently. I’m adding to my previous reviews. Very good service and always a nice setting on the water. Can the head chef please advise the cooking staff to NOT add excessive salt to the Risotto accompanying the Lobster w/ app? You CANNOT remove salt, but the diner can always ADD it. It’s a common mistake in non gourmet restaurants and it was almost and probably should have been returned. (The risotto is premade, I’m sure and would have been the same.)

We had such a fantastic experience at Lighthouse Bar & Grill thanks to our server, Danielle. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome. She was attentive without being overbearing, knew the menu inside and out, and gave great recommendations that turned out to be spot on.

Danielle checked on us at just the right times, kept our drinks full, and made sure everything came out quickly and exactly as we ordered. Her friendly personality really stood out and made our meal that much more enjoyable. It’s not often you find service that goes above and beyond like this—Danielle truly made the evening special.

If you’re visiting Lighthouse Bar & Grill, ask for Danielle—you’ll be glad you did!
