The first time I visited, the staff was nice. We ordered lo mein with wings, packed into four large clamshell plate combos to go, plus spring rolls and 2 bubble teas. That whole order was around $100 if I recall.
The next time we went, I ordered the same, but this time they gave me just one order of lo mein and wings, and spring rolls separately. Basically the same items but much smaller portions. They said they “don’t do combos,” which isn’t true because they clearly advertise them in the front of the restaurant and gave us it last time. This order came to about $60, which felt strange given how little we received compared to the first visit.
When I went back to ask why the portions and pricing were so different, the man backed the woman up and got snappy with me, like what?

Do not eat here! I ordered the “Bourbon Chicken,” and when I got my food, the “bourbon chicken” looked nothing like chicken and did not taste like chicken at all. My wife ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, and same thing. The “chicken” tasted chewy and gummy and when I brought it up to the manager (see photo) she stated that this is “our bourbon chicken” and that “it’s different from other places. When I asked for my refund, she denied me my refund! She would not give me money back and said that “just because I didn’t like it, doesn’t mean I am entitled to a refund.” They did not have a “no refunds” sign or anything indicating that all sales are final and nothing that stated that the customer is not entitled to a refund. I don’t know what other reason you need other than “I didn’t like it” to get a refund. But I was robbed of my money and I didn’t even eat the food because it was completely disgusting. Whatever it was, it was NOT chicken. I left completely disgusted and unsatisfied. And they literally stole my money from me because the manager would not refund me! Do not eat here.

Probably the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Don't waste your money. I got a pepper steak. I promise you it was not beef. Totally disgusting I had to spit it out in the toilet. I can't belive this place is open. The fried rice is yellow like Indian food. I never complain just threw my food away and....lesson learned!

Small order but the lady was nice and easy to communicate with. I hesitated coming from reviews. But everything about it was like every other place, but it went well and smooth like stated a the start. Its close to home so ill be a regular here now

I don’t know why this place has only 2 stars, sincerely I’ve done take out several times even customizing my order and the food is always been excellent. The vegetables are always crisp and not soggy and the meats always tender. Customer service always great also and your food is always ready in a few minutes!

Magic Wok is hands down one of the best Chinese takeout restaurants in this area. When our old favorite closed, we went on a search for our new go to and gave Magic Wok a chance. That was a few years ago now and it's consistantly amazing! The portions are big, food is always fresh and they have a great variety for the price. I know there are lots of choices for Chinese food but I highly recommend giving Magic Wok a chance.
(I know the overall rating isnt great on Google but I think there have been changes in ownership or management because I think the bad reviews are old. )

I’ve been getting food from here for a few months say once a month and it’s always been great, the fried rice is always tasty and their chicken actually tastes like chicken. Fried and steamed dumplings were delicious and everything always tastes fresh.
