The food is consistently outstanding, with their fresh, expertly shucked oysters stealing the show—each one bursts with briny, clean flavor from both East and West Coast varieties. The craft beer selection is equally impressive, featuring a rotating lineup of 44 taps with local Southwest Florida brews that pair perfectly with the seafood-driven menu. One dish we can’t stop raving about is the cast iron scallops with risotto. The scallops are seared to a perfect golden crust, tender and buttery, while the creamy risotto underneath is rich and perfectly balanced—a combination that never fails to wow us.
Beyond the food, what sets Coldwater apart is its welcoming, pet-friendly patio. Sad to see this place so quiet. Food was delicious. Prices and service were A+. Can’t wait to return. Only complaint was the music was very very regrettable.. something I’d expect to hear in a macys dept store circa 2007.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I would like to go back and try some of the other menu options as they all sounded very good. Tried their oysters and enjoyed them. The Carpetbag burger is delicious. And the Smoke N' Thyme old fashioned is excellent.

Excellent selection of oysters from different regions. Shrimp were very large and tasty and prepared to make peeling easy. I am too lazy for peeling and eat Shrimp, but these were large enough to be worth the effort and the shells were pre sliced to some off easily. Great local beer selections and a good wine list.

Restaurantji Recommends
We tried this restaurant for the first time last night, and we will definitely be back! I got the blackened cod and I can honestly say that it was one of the best meals I’ve had at a restaurant recently. The others in our party ordered the kids’ grilled cheese, the bbq chicken, fish and chips, and the swordfish. Everything was delicious! The service was excellent as well.

I had the scallops and they were not cooked well. It seemed that the skillet was not pre-heated enough. There was no sear even though they were a bit overcooked. On the other hand, everyone else's meal was excellent.
