Took my two sons to dinner here on 8/20 and it was absolutely abysmal. There were 3 people working, two were focused on the bar, and one person was seated at the end of the bar having drinks and chatting, and I thought he might have been a customer but every so often he would get up and go get a case of beer or something. This once favorite place has plumetted in service and food appeal.
It's probably a result of the owner stepping back.
The last 2 times we were there were terrible.
We order the mushrooms to start.
They came out cold from being cooked much earlier, then last night they were way overcooked, probably an attempt to warm them up left them dark, crunchy and oily.
The simple meatball sandwich was lacking marinade and had cold Shredded Cheese, not melted.
