Very good seafood 🍤 restaurant!
We ordered through door dash... Our order was messed up. Call the store. Told them our order was messed up, she said like what? I told her we received buffalo wings instead of bbq, no cheese sticks, and didn't receive our drink, without any word she passes us off to someone else. And we repeat ourselves again. He keeps talking to other people while we're on the phone and keeps making me repeat myself and the name. For him to end up stating just call door dash and get a refund and hangs up without any word... We had over a $50 order...

Very good food, order ahead. I got the daily special and added wings. All good. Banana pudding was delicious, but wafers soggy. Delicious crab cake too.
With the Covid restrictions drive through is our best option! We are new to this area and do not live downtown so we were not aware of this restaurant until there was an article in the paper about supporting the local stores over the chains. We love to go to both but now is definitely the time to support local. We ordered on line and it gave us the pick up time which was in line with our preferred pick up time. We ordered the fried grouper dinner and the jumbo shrimp dinner. We had about a 15 minute drive to get back home. The fish and shrimp were still hot enough but sadly not the fries, they bordered on slightly warm. You get a ton of fries, way too much. The cole slaw is delicious and they do not give enough of that. I swear it was the size of cup you use to get ketchup! So suggest fewer fries, more cole slaw. The grouper was 2 good sized pieces and I loved it. The jumbo shrimp, we got 7 pieces were also fresh and lightly breaded. We split the fish and shrimp. The bad part was pick up. We were there at 1:15 and the line was long and also 2 ways to enter. We did not have a problem getting in line when it was our turn but I can see that could become an issue. Our food was not packaged up when we arrived but honestly that’s better because the fish was hot enough when we got home. That said we arrived at 1:15 and did not drive away until 1:45. My husband was ready to just leave and forget the food. I would return but I’m not sure my husband will.
You have to know before you go that this is not a nice area of town. Several homeless people walking around and the building is in rough shape. That being said, I am a fan of Chicken Gizzards and will search them out. I watched the cooks and could see them by the fryers. Not a great picture, but it’s all about the food for me. They are hand dipping the food. No Frozen food here. The packaging is good with napkins included. The Gizzards, I’d give them a 7. Not bad but I’ve had better. The price was good for what you get. The slaw was not good. It should have been chilled, but they leave it out before they package it.
