Wife came home and says why haven’t we tried this place, so we just did. Got the 4 meat combo to give Mitchell’s an honest taste. I was really trying to be non biased as I’m a retired NC BBQ judge.Sorry y’all, the pulled pork seemed a day or two old and tasteless and the color almost looked as some SC mustard sauce was added.St. Louis ribs were not a good cut and very fatty. I never think I really tasted the dry rub. I did see some smoke ring but couldn’t identify the smoke.Turkey was moist and wife said tasted like grocery store turkey, I agreed. Brisket was moist but fattier than most I’ve had in a while and lacked any smoke bbq flavor and I couldn’t make out any discernible smoke ring.Gave you an honest try but we will stick with Nicks for local Q.

We're a little far from our usual BBQ place. Hubby had a serious craving. I searched for 30 minutes and couldn't decide where to go to get what he wanted. Found Mitchell's. Menu had what he wanted. We were not disappointed at all. I was initially kinda bummed that they only had Sharp White Cheddar Mac and Cheese. As a Mac and Cheese lover I'm 50/50 when it comes to White Cheddar. It was probably the best White Cheddar Mac and cheese I've ever had. Ribs were fall off the bone. Chicken, beef, and pulled pork were great as well. The Pickle Sticks were a different take on pickle chips and I'm not hating! Wish I had taken pictures but I always forget! Only reason it wasn't a full 5 stars is where we usually would go is a little cheaper with a little larger portions. Otherwise, it was and fantastic experience!

Was meaning to try this place for a while, and stopped in for lunch. Waitress was very friendly and attentive, bringing out a big glass of water and popcorn right away. She also checked back on me several times during my meal, which was appreciated. I ordered just a pound of brisket with no sides. The brisket was a little on the dry side, but this seems to be from it sitting under heat lamps too long. With some of their BBQ sauce added it was ok. I tried to pay in cash, but she said the owner went on vacation and didn't leave enough cash in the restaurant even to be able to make change for $40. Seems a little amateur hour-ish for an owner to do that. The atmosphere was good and the place was clean. If the brisket was a little juicier, not as dry, it would be five star.

We moved here 1 year ago (prior to hurricane Ian) my only regret is not stopping in sooner! Amazing food. Great bar area! This place should be packed every day.

Green beans too much vinegar tasted like canned. Mac an cheese dry and not creamy. Half rack of ribs was only 3 ribs not half rack. Cheese curds and cheese sticks 2 different things. Had to go to lunch somewhere else The tea was the only good thing there

Wheelchair accessibility: It was very accessible

What a great find! Friends told us about this restaurant. We were a little hesitant when there were very few cars in the parking lot, and we are so glad we went in!Our experience started with one of the friendliest servers I've ever met greeting us at the door and seating us. She brought us napkins and popcorn (how cute!) while we browsed the menu.We had the beef brisket (which was fork-tender) and pulled pork (which was seasoned to perfection). We were also glad to find a salad bar since there are so few around any more.We LOVE supporting small businesses, and this is definitely one we will return to This hidden gem will be a regular stop for us.

Should've known everything was going to be disappointing when Heinz 57 BBQ sauce was in the bag.The brisket was fine. Not bad, not great. The Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Mac and Cheese, and Peach Cobbler all tasted store bought.I am not sure what y'all think Cornbread is but that ain't it.

We ordered Mitchell's Bar-B-Q thru a delivery service so I was nervous as to how the food would deliver to me 20 minutes away. It was all amazing. The food was packed up well and the quality was still good. I will definitely be eating from here again...soon..Our order included baby back ribs, steak burger, coleslaw, fried green tomatoes, onion rings and garlic bread. ??

An amazing locally owned, mom n’ pop with drool-worthy, finger-licking comfort food.WHEN you come to Mitchell’s Bar-B-Q, you must order the beef brisket sandwich and request the GARLIC bread instead of the buns. Mitchell’s is a barbecue gem in the community that you do not want to miss out on! We can’t wait to go back!

Came in for a very early dinner with the family — the kids meals satisfied our hungry crew (hot dogs, chicken tenders, french fries, baked potatos, corn bread, and ice cream all got the ?). Adults had the perfectly done cheese curds, garlic bread, great collard greens with some heat on the back, and pulled pork, ribs, & beef brisket with sweet and spicy BBQ sauces perfect for a little dip or slathering on.Service was great — staff and management were friendly and happy hour specials on select drafts were great, too!We gobbled up the food too fast to take pictures so we'll have to come back and do it all again!

Kid-friendliness: Menus and staff were both very kid-friendly. Crayons and coloring pages; entree + 1 side + drink + dessert for one price.

Tried Mitchell’s for lunch because one in our group had had a good previous experience there. Our table ordered the baby back ribs and pulled pork . One lady enjoyed the fried okra appetizer. Sides are good although the fries picked up an odd flavor from the grease they were fried in. The ribs were meaty and tasty. The waitress was pleasant but seemed over worked, she could use some help. A little surprised no butter or oleo spread accompanied the corn bread ?

We started with the fried pickle strips and the fried green tomatoes. The pickles were cut into strips about the size of French fries and came with ranch dressing, and they were delicious. The fried green tomatoes had a crunchy cornmeal coating and were cooked to perfection and came with a horseradish sauce for dipping. Three of us had the brisket, and one opted for the chicken. Our meals came with two sides, between the four of us, we had several. The potato salad and the slaw were good but seemed to be the usual foodservice type. The beans were good, and the Mac and cheese was nice and creamy but lacked flavor (I added some of the house hot bbq sauce to spice it up a little), and the green beans were tasty. The brisket was excellent, tender, juicy, and great flavor (no need to use any sauce), and the chicken had a nice smoke flavor and was tender and juicy. The meals came with a choice of cornbread or garlic toast. The garlic toast was the better choice. They have a good-looking salad bar, but none of us had salad. Finally, our server Katie was very attentive and friendly. Overall, it was a great experience and we'll be back. You should give it a try.

Hurricane Ian did quite the number on our area. More and more restaurants are getting back into the swing of things. Regular haunts aren’t all open so that makes a person look for new ones. And I found a new delightfully delicious new Bar-B-Q place! Mitchell’s!It’s located on Winkler Just off College Pkwy. Now when I say Winkler this is the Winkler just over the South Cape Coral Bridge, on your left before you get to Summerlin. The restaurant is very neat and cleaned up outside. Nicely painted and the color scheme really fits the Bar-B-Q style. Walking into the restaurant you can’t help but to notice how clean and well maintained the restaurant is inside. The bar is very well kept and very inviting. Nice open concept. I imagine I’ll be giving it a go here in the near future. The restrooms were clean and well maintained as well. The booths are aged, but not uncomfortable. The tables are nice and we sat down to a nice clean seat and table.I ordered a few different items including the salad bar. Yes! I said salad bar! I was so pleased to find a restaurant that still has a salad bar. People have differing opinions on salad bars. Personally I like them. This salad bar was very clean and the items were very fresh!I also ordered the Bar-B-Q chicken and St. Louis style ribs. The glaze on the chicken was very nice well seasoned and tasty. The chicken was good and tender. Light smoke taste in the meat, not overly smoky and not just plain chicken flavor. The ribs were very good! Very tender with a nice smoked flavor. My son ordered the pulled pork. Personally I’m not a pulled pork guy. But his was good. Nice flavor and the meat was tender. The garlic bread was, believe it or not, impressive. Nice crisp outside and fluffy soft interior. Not overly garlicky. I really enjoyed the barbecue sauce especially the kickin one. We tried the Key lime pie and Peach Cobbler for dessert. Both were moderately good. All in all we were very happy with our meal and time spent here. Our server Katie was such a nice and pleasant waitress. Very hospitable and polite. Very attentive without being overly attentive. She’s a gem!If your looking for some real good Bar-B-Q and a nice relaxing meal with some soft country music playing in the background. You have to give Mitchell’s a try. If you do, it won’t be your last.

Our experience was excellent. Wait staff was sweet and attentive. Management came out and greeted us and ask how our food was. I had brisket that was 10 out of 10. One thing important to me about barbecue is the ratio of your sides with the meat. One bite of each until the end. Their portions were spot on! My only problem might just be me stuck in time 2-3 years ago when everything had not gotten so crazy expensive. Overall money well spent my family enjoyed every bite.We will return a lot!!!!
