This isn’t our normal type of spot and we can’t fathom returning. Food was served with silverware IN the food…bizarre and completely off putting. Broccoli was over salted. Shrimp not close to Bonefish bang bang or BlU level as waiter claimed, but greasy. Fish and chips beyond mediocre and some of the worst we’ve ever had in SWFL. Seats were dirty which I noticed after we’d already ordered. The place felt greasy, shabby and despite our overly enthusiastic waiter doing his best, the food isn’t on the level it could or should be. Corn chowder was just okay and served with a spoon in it so that lets you know what level of place this is…menus were not as clean as they should be. Happy hour beer served two at once…why? So one can get warm? Utterly bizarre dining spot.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We visit pinchers in Cape Coral pretty frequently and have never had any issues until today while trying this location in Gulf coast town center. Our server/bartender Tina cut us off due to me spilling a drink at the bar.. As a fellow server/bartender I think it’s crazy we were cut off instead of offered a remake especially when it was only spilt because I bumped into their sauce caddie while cleaning up my boyfriends cracker crumbs. We ended up canceling the rest of our food and left due to the disrespect we received and called to inform the manger who also didn’t seem to care about the situation. We will not be returning to this location and would recommend the cape coral location over this one any day!

I wanted some seafood so I decided to check out Pinchers Crab shack. First I had some of their corn and crab chowder... What an awesome soup. It was a little bit on the peppery side but that's right up my alley and just how I like it...It was fantastic. My entree was the cake and shrimp combo (crab cake with a shrimp skewer) and I've got to tell you I was half-way disappointed. The shrimp were small, the seasoning was kind of over the top, and the shrimp were stone cold. I always heard shrimp are well cooked and fresh when the whole tail just pops right out of the shell... I did not get any meat to pop out of any of these shells even while squeezing it tightly between my fingers. The crab cake on the other hand was off the chain... Loaded with crab meat, fresh and hot, great flavors great texture cannot say enough good things about the crab cake.
If the shrimp were awesome I wouldn't have anything bad to say... But with shrimp that bad the portion size is not something that can be overlooked. It really wasn't worth what the dish cost... Either that or maybe they're just highly valuing their awesome crab cake I don't know... I for one would rather eat more food for that price, somewhere else if need be.

I think they are pretty good. The staff has always been very friendly. I love to get the bourbon salmon with rice and green beans. The portions are nice sized. The drinks are good. It's a pretty simple place but it's good.

One Large Black Hair in my mashed potatoes ruined a meal! Although the emotionless waitress said sorry, Not good enough. No manager presence, not even a discount for the ugly mistake. I spent $150 (for 3). Should have left. Unsatisfactory.

We stopped in for lunch on Fathers Day. Service from Doge was excellent. He was attentive, very social and was great with my kid. We'll be coming back to this Pinchers location and requesting Dove soon. Food was excellent as always. Thanks for making it a great visit

I do not hesitate to say this. Our sever forgot her name, sorry. But she was absolutely the best! Got everything right and was timely with everything. The food was amazing! I have zero disappointment about this place! Great pricing, too! I definitely will remember this place amd ve back soon! Thank you!

Food was great,our waitress Tina was not there for us when needed 50% of the time and apparently wasn't very excited about having a job there.Other waitresses had to help.Wish I tipped less, now that I think of it.Venice location is much better.
