Prawnbroker Restaurant and Fish Market

My family had the most wonderful meal for their last night in Fl. My husband and I have wanted to eat here for years and finally made it happen. We were treated so wonderfully by Tess, who was most amazing! All our meals were excellent including the soups and salads we all enjoyed. It is such a beautiful place and we were totally happy with the experience. I would totally recommend The Prawnbroker!

Been enjoying the great fresh fish and stellar service for over 35 years. Manhattan clam chowder is the best anywhere! Reasonable prices, salads and sides included, unusual in today's world. Consistently top notch and they take reservations 👍.

Wanted to really love this restaurant, food was very good, server was very good however the place needs a makeover in the worst way. I felt like I went back to the 80’s in a New England seafood restaurant. This place could be something very special if the owners invested in it

Disappointed! We have lived in the area for 3 years now… Our third time going here… seems to be worse than the last time as far as the food goes! Service and atmosphere is great! They really need to take the food quality up! Shrimp cocktail was limp and not clean. Not sure what the cocktail sauce was. We both ordered petite filet. No taste at all. I had the creme brulee. It was not set/chilled at all. Husband has apple cobbler with caramel and ice cream, which looked better than it tasted.
Hopefully someday they will get the food improved to match the service and atmosphere!

Prawnbroker is a great Seafood Restaurant! The bar is a great place to start. Drinks are reasonably priced and liquor options are plentiful. Dinner options are pretty good. The chowder and shrimp bisque are delicious. The seafood grouper, shrimp, scallops were great. The bread is also yummy. Consistency is one of the reasons you can expect a great meal here.

All food was made from scratch, which is a rare occurance these days.
I ordered a New England Clam Chowder, the best in years, and a Bouillabaissee.

This place is a hidden gem! A casual dining spot filled with mainly those of the much older crowd, but that's because the quality of food for the price really is great! Most of the seafood entrees include soup or salad and your choice of potato (baked, sweet, fries..etc). I had the crab cakes (fried) which were small but very good. Other people in our party had Chilean sea bass (which I tried and thought it was excellent), swordfish, scallops, oysters on the half shell and lobster bites. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was amazing as well. We all left stuffed. Truly a place I recommend if you're looking for great seafood without breaking the budget!
