We wanted to go somewhere for dinner, but it was crazy crowded so we ended up at the Rum Bucket on a whim. My husband had the shrimp po boy, I had the grouper, blackened with the cajun sauce. We also did Gator bites. Everything was fantastic. The gator wasn't chewy at all. The grouper was some of the best I've had. The veggies and rice were also delicious. First time here and we enjoyed our experience. Food was good and fairly priced in lite of where food costs have gone. Very bright dinning room with high ceilings, kind of felt like a dinning room at a moose lodge or a camp. Two bars available, one inside and one outside. Live music outside on the deck. This is a neat place off the beaten path in Fort Myers. We made a quick overnight trip down and stumbled upon this place.
