We like going with smaller, family owned businesses, and these guys were great. Mike fixed & tuned up our old garage door at an extremely fair price in these market conditions. Top notch service, go with these guys.

My garage door spring broke in the evening and I was worried it would take days to get fixed. Alsip Garage Door Repair returned my call that very night and was here the next morning to replace it. I'm super happy!

We were about to make plans to visit Josef for our annual October Fest outing and learned Sassy’s has permanently closed. We’ve been going there at least a few times a year with friends and family for the past 9 years. We will miss the fine dining and super friendly atmosphere created by Chef Josef. I doubt there is another restaurant with the welcoming atmosphere, great cuisine and reasonable prices that we all enjoyed at Sassy’s. Josef and Sassy’s will truly be missed.

Loved this place, but Sasse's has closed for good as of August 29, 2022. I tried to make a reservation for Saturday night and received a call that they were closing down for good.

Our first time eating at Sasse’s and did not disappoint. Chef Josef personally greeted us for lunch when we arrived at noon. We made a reservation for my birthday. Our meals were delicious and they came out quickly. I ordered the fish of the day over risotto. Yum!Salad dressing on the house salad was so good. The room did start to get warm as we were finishing up, probably due to the kitchens location.

Some of our group knew the chef, Josef Zimmermann, from his exerience as a chef at the Pfister Hotel and Milwaukee Athletic Club. He relocated to Ft. Myers and opened Sasse's in a a small strip mall in a somewhat out of Ft. Myers traffic location. Service was excellent. Out of our group of six 3 ordered the Veal Scallopini alla Milanese and concurred that it was outstanding. Veal was tender with a delicious Milanese sauce. The other 3 ordered salmon--cooked to perfection. Portions were generous. The Tuscan salad looked very good (as it passed our table). Ambience somewhat lacking but that was not why we were there. I would heartily recommend Sasse's and would return again.

Be sure to make reservations well in advance if you want to enjoy some of the best northern Italian cuisine in the area. Chef Josef manages to make you feel like you're a welcomed guest in his home while still putting out the highest quality, professional chef dishes. The menu is not large which is a good sign! No jack of all trades here. Rather, there's a mastery of a few. No one I've ever dined here with has ever had anything but accolades for the food. Skip the bread and dessert but don't miss starting with the escargot, follow it with a Caesar salad, and the entree of your choice. You will not be disappointed!

The restaurant isn’t in a good location but the food and service are amazing. Best chicken parm I’ve ever had out. Will probably go back again tonight!

Food and service is amazing. This was the best chicken parm I have ever had out. Everything prepared to order and chef was super accommodating and proactive. My mom wanted to avoid tomatoes so he came out of the kitchen and gave her a few options. So kind and my mom really enjoyed her meal. Will probably go back again tonight! One thing to bear in mind, the location isn’t ideal, so you just have to go in knowing that. Know that when you get inside, you will not be disappointed- food is fantastic, as is service.

10/10 amazing food, wine, and hospitality. Couldn't be happier with the choice to have dinner and Sasse's. The chef made our experience at his restaurant one i'll never forget and will 100% be coming back
Not in an upmarket location as I suspect the neighborhood is changing. Husband and I stopped in on Saturday evening. Nice small (12) table restaurant. Great personable service. Food clearly prepared by chef on premises. I had salmon with risotto which was very good. Husband had the veal which he enjoyed. Accompanied by pasta with tomato sauce which was a bit of an odd pairing flavor wise. Perhaps a better side for the veal flavors would have been the risotto. I would recommend

Sasse's is where my wife and I had our rehearsal dinner before our wedding ten years ago. There was no other place I could think of to celebrate our anniversary. They went all- out for us when they heard that, and the food was somehow better than how we were treated by the staff. A truly amazing experience.

The neighborhood is not what it was in '80 or '90 but the owner is worth supporting. Every night owner offers 5-7 different dinners. Dinner: Tuesday-Saturday 5:30pm to 8pm. Lunch: Tuesday-Friday 11:30am to 1:30pm. Reservations recommended!
