I love Mexican food but this place has done something wrong. I get carne asada tacos all around town and somehow tequilas have ruined a simple recipe. Enchiladas were mediocre too. There are a lot of other Mexican places to visit in town!

This has always been my favorite place to bring anyone who wanted a great Mexican experience. There were mariachis and a salsa bar. Today the music overhead was great. The gentleman who brought our chips and salsa was super kind. Our server was also kind but disappeared after we placed our order. I think there was more tequila in the name of the restaurant than in our house margaritas. First time I didn’t LOVE my chili relleno. Darn it. I hope it was just a bad day.

My partner and I went to Tequila’s together for lunch. We’ve been looking for a new “usual” spot for Mexican food, and I’m really glad we have this place a chance!When I first tried their chips and two salsas, I was like, “This is going to be a good meal. I can already tell.”Food: We ordered things we knew we liked so we could see if the quality was there. I got the steak fajitas and burrito special. We were very happy, as it was authentic, homemade, well-plated, and perfectly portioned. I’ve never had fajitas quite like that before: meat and veg combined all together in a tasty sauce. Everything was cooked to order. Superb! ?We had a side of mole to try and flavor was on point. A little thin, but spot-on flavor. Their guacamole is on my top 3!For dessert, we had the tres leches cake (my #1 fave) and it was delicious. It had the perfect crumb texture and was neither too wet or too dry. The whipped cream was a little gummy, but all in all, it was delicious. ?Service: The host was friendly and prompt. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating. Food came out in about 20 minutes, fresh as could be. I wish we had gotten a few more drinks throughout our meal, though.Atmosphere: The atmosphere was very nice, so comfortable. It wasn’t too busy, staff were cheerful, and traditional music was quiet but enjoyable. The booth seats were comfortable and the high backs allowed for privacy.Allergies: I’m a disabled person with several allergies and sensitivities, so dining out can be frustrating. Tequila’s was very accommodating.✨This is the first time in months that I have left a restaurant without feeling sick.✨ I’m so grateful I could cry. Thank you Tequila’s for making my weekend unforgettable!My only regret is not taking pictures.Dietary restrictions: I have a shellfish allergy with sensitivities to gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and garlic.✨This is the first time in about 4 months that I have left a restaurant without feeling sick.✨Parking: Front of the building dedicated to the disabled, with additional parking on all sides of the building.

Visiting Florida we were looking for a good Mexican restaurant for dinner. Tequilas did not disappoint, the food was excellent, serving size great, great service and good prices. We will definitely be back!
I bought s faiti dinner. Got home, put in microwave. Later that night when was hungry, ready to eat, realized they never gave me any tortillas. Spent $30 on a container of meat n veges. So Irritated with youI apologize for the review. It wasn't until restaurant was closed when noticed was missing tortillas. I went back the next day and they gave me the tortillas, plus 2 free soft tacos and rice n beans. I appreciate the good service.
