My wife and I went to go have a few drinks at lunchtime,it was raining and we wanted to sit out on the Covered patio attached to the restaurant, no one outside went inside to order drinks,was told no because it was to cold outside and they wouldn't bring out food or drinks to the outside covered patio attached to the restaurant. I said,what do you mean,they said, we won't go out there because it's to cold. Hello,? Really? Glad to see they don't care about business. We will take it elsewhere. Really, Florida,to cold, we were refused service.

We tried Shoeless Joe's because it was conveniently located near our hotel. Our first experience with the inside was quite interesting. My daughter and I thought it was strange that staff were eating at one of the high top tables while waiting on customers. We decided to overlook that. Another group came in and just wanted a beer outside under the covered deck away from the rain. The female wait staff said they could sit there but she wasn't going to serve them. A male brought them a pitcher anyway. We ordered and were told that we could not get the buffalo chicken sauce on the side and would have to order the grilled chicken fried and then get sauce on the side. We thought that was strange. However, we overheard the kitchen to just put in the order as we originally asked. We were becoming more and more skeptical at this point. We were pleasantly surprised with our buffalo chicken sandwiches, fries and onion rings. We would order that again. We went back for happy hour on the deck and had a completely different experience. The bartender was attentive and so nice even though there were quite a few tables taken. We ordered nachos and drinks. She suggested the half order. She didn't want any us to pay for what we wouldn't eat. So thoughtful! She was right and they were huge and delicious. The toppings were plentiful and layered throughout. Love that! I would definitely go back especially to sit outside for happy hour.

Sat outside and we had 3 red wines served in dirty lipstick stained white wine glasses which we had to clean ourselves with a napkin. We were told by our server that they don't have the time to clean each glass. I can't drink out of a glass that is dirty

Food arrived a bit cold, and the staff wasn't too responsive to correct it. Not bad enough service to not go back, though. We'll give them another chance. People do have bad work days, I understand. Good place other than that glitch.
Walked in with a party of 4. Sign said seat yourself sap we sat right in the middle of the dining area. We were totally ignored for almost 20 mins. The place was not busy at all and servers just walked by us. No greeting,. Nothing. Extremely disappointed.

The waitresses & bar tenders not friendly, only pay attention to their customers & in front of customers say, “Well they are yours, I have the next ones,” talk poorly-about each other in front of customers, customers wait long periods for servers to return. Very “un-inviting” atmosphere. This is unfortunate since this place has a great name & is located in the hotel. With that being said, the food was good. We are visiting & have gone to other restaurants where the staff is friendly & stayed away from our hotel restaurant.
We were looking for a place to watch the Buckeyes game and Shoeless Joes did not disappoint. Will definitely go again!

My husband and I are in Ft Myers for the Ohio State game, a friend recommended Shoeless Joe's, she said it is the best OSU Sports bar there. She was definitely correct on that! We got to sit outside, the sun shining in. We ordered amazing margaritas and loaded chicken nachos from the appetizers. When the appetizer was brought out it was huge!!! Everything on it was very good but unfortunately it was too much for 2. Needles to say, we are so happy we went!!! Atmosphere was just amazing!! Our servers were both great too!!

I went into this restaurant to say hello to some friends who had texted me that they were there. I was at the bar 2 minutes when the bartender came over and instead of asking if she could serve us a drink she basically attacked us regarding our water bottles that we carry EVERYWHERE with us, saying we were not allowed to have them. There were like 5 people in your bar. She could have sold us two drinks but instead she was rude and overly concerned about our WATER bottles. When my partner went to take our water outside she yelled at him: "that is outside as well!NICE. REALLY NICE. I admit a shot her the bird on my way out, but she deserved it.We take our water into every restaurant we go to. Bonefish, Bahama Breeze, Watermark Grill, Bha Bha, LA Ola, K.J.'s Steakhouse, The Standard, The Beacon in the Luminary Hotel, and more. We spend several hundred dollars eating out weekly and we will never spend a dime in your establishment. We also work with tourists to this area and will refrain from recommendations of your establishment. Very poor.
