Repeatedly Awful service by the same server. She will literally ask for your order within seconds upon seating you and then tailspin into slamming your drinks and plates (accompanied by glares) during the rest of the journey. My daughter described her behavior as ‘disturbing’. We discussed this with several of the other (management?) staff and they apologized for her behavior, however, she is still up to her rude ways. Unfortunate that this continues as Sweet Bean has such great potential. I, however, will not sacrifice piece of mind and manners for a quality food experience.

This is not a place for people to go to with children. You have to understand that this is like a dark speedy adult, mature audience type of place where you go to to have ambience and more of an experience. This is more like a bar atmosphere with coffee and a bakery and food so you have to know that if you have children, this might not be the place to go. You’re looking for an adult experience, a nice race or a really nice high-end place to have a coffee and food definitely this is a great stop. A+

Odd experience. The hostess was nonverbal to the point that we didn't know whether to follow her to our table or not. She did not take us to a table, but a couch to wait. I ask if we can get a beverage while we wait. That doesn't happen. Fine. We eventually get a table. We order from the menu. Then someone else tells us what we ordered is not available. The woman who took our order is not to be seen again. Another couple passes us, also not sure where the nonverbal hostess is taking them. We share a knowing chuckle about what is happening. I use the bathroom. There's a sign above the toilet explaining that it works, but is finicky. The toilet does not, in fact, flush. I will not be returning to this weird place.The food is very American-simple, but pricey.

The toffee coffee is amazing. Such a unique atmosphere with great service. Get the quiche of the day and don’t think twice. Avocado toast is one of the best!

Excellent food, one of the best breakfast spots in town. Great service, high quality ingredients, and excellent menu options. Everything I have ordered here has been fantastic and the cinnamon toast is something I always look forward to.

Love this place! Been coming since a kid and it hasn’t changed. The atmosphere brings you into a warm and comfy state of mind. The food is delicious and the coffee is to DIE for. Speciality iced lattes to a bar of “pour it yourself” hot coffee(s). They make special Grilled Cinnamon Roll Bread. OMG! Pictured is the Corned Beef Hash, and the all American breakfast (forgot the name). Dark chocolate & Pistachio iced latte. Steve was amazing, and so is all the staff. They all work together so efficiently and you can tell they enjoy doing it.

Sat outside with my puppy, had endless mimosas and the corn beef omelette with the jalapeño cornbread. Absolutely delicious! Steve & Michelle took care of us while we sat outside. Felt totally relaxed, no rush whatsoever. Great experience Sylvie and I will be back!

Staff is always organized and attentive. Uniquely decorated with a relaxing atmosphere. Food is excellent and their baked goods are awesome. I've never had a bad meal here!

The food and atmosphere are outstanding! Expensive but a decent value for the quality. My only beef is that they will not give you a glass of water. You have to purchase a beverage. Coffee is $5. It makes it a place I will go on a special occasion, but if I just want to grab breakfast, the price point is tricky.

Not what I expected, but pleasantly surprised! I was looking for a place to have a snack, coffee, and read. When I walked in, I was stunned by the atmosphere. I almost felt under dressed (but there was others dressed casual too. A good mix of attire). I was greeted right at the door, she gave me a quick tour of the place, explained their coffee options. Again, stunned. She was so welcoming and great information. The whole staff too! Working as a team to make sure everyone was taken care of. Granted, not what I was expecting, but to me I believe it was well worth it. I had the crustless quiche, and it was probably one of the best quiches I ever had! I paid with card, but if you pay in cash it is less. It was just myself, and it was around $25 but again, I truly believe it was worth it. A great breakfast date place or catching up with friends. Me personally, not ideal for sitting to read or work on a laptop, but I enjoyed myself for the pleasant surprise! I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’ll have my eye on some of their pastries!

Just an honest transparent review… treated a dear friend to breakfast. I’d pay a million dollars for that but i was shocked when: 2 waters, 2 self serve coffees, and two orders of biscuits and gravy with one side of corn bread cost $87 after tip. It’s wayyyyyyyy over priced. Just be prepared.

Wowsa, awesome place for phenomenal coffee and Bagels/Lox. Great way to start the day. Sooo good, we'll be back as crepes, sausage biscuits/gravy and jalapenos cornbread were all excellent as well.

No kids friendly at all, no high chairs , we went for lunch time and the waitress had a terrible attitude, told us to keep our toddler in our table , but they have not kids chair , food is ok, won’t visit again. Horrible service
