This holiday season at TMP seemed to be focused on money. The menu continues to get smaller and smaller each year but more expensive each year. Normally they will ask for donations for a hospital or something family related, this year they added to your bill for every person and then still even asked for more on top of that. They rang our info in incorrectly and tried to charge my 7year old for a full course adult meal without asking or offering the children’s course like we normally get. Menu cannot be seen online ahead of time so you’re pretty much trapped once you get seated and started. Again, this seemed like another money grab situation. Also, Instead of getting a normal paper check where you have the privacy to tip and calculate everything on your own time has also been taken away, they shove an electronic device to you immediately upon receiving your card and charge you and then while you sign it you also have to give the tip right there that second while they stand and watch , it feels like crazy peer pressure. We’ve come on Xmas Eve for decades at this location and many others where the full menu was available with regular pricing to now there are barely any menu choices except for 3 salads(without details of what comes on them) and 3 desert chocolates. We were excited to have the s’mores like last year, but now they don’t even offer that for desert. I don’t want to name our waitress because she was so kind and polite to us and I don’t want her name attached to how the business is ran. As always, the ladies who are the hosts are always very nice too!
