We had a 7 pm reservation called to say traffic was bad and we would be 10 mins late. We arrived and had to wait 10 mins for our table. Food was good but we were still eating dinner at 8 when staff was picking up all the flowers from tables and clearly trying to close down. I would not return . Sorry to say but did not live up to reputation. I was so looking forward to to a special anniversary dinner but not so.

I ordered my filet medium no red please. Upon arrival I cut into it and it was red. I knew I wouldn't eat it all so I cut the end of the steak...it was red too. I asked for it to be cooked a bit more and it came back gray. I believe they microwaved it!!

We had the cutest little corner booth for our honeymoon, our only regret was not choose to sit outside because the patio was gorgeous. Food was phenomenal, live piano player in the other room so it wasn't too loud. We love it!

As it was the birthday of my wife, but I felt not really welcome. Although I reserved month in advance for our party of four, we had to wait approximatly 25 minutes before we take our seats. The table was located in the foyer near the piano. Communication was nearly impossible.. Ever so we complaint this, we didn't get a table in the dining room. The service was poor: The bread came with the main dish and the ordered wine by glass was mistaken: instead Pinot Grigio we got Sauvignion, and so on. We have been 34 or 4 times in this retsaurant, but now: never ever...

Our group of six was very happy with the entire evening. We asked for table where we could talk and enjoy each others company. The staff put in the small room off the lounge which was perfect. Winston provided excellent, professional service and the pianist in the lounge was an added bonus.

My wife's Birthday Dinner was out of this world. Could not have asked for a better night. Food was amazing: Steak cooked to perfection. Salmon and glaze was so delicious. Veggies cooked to the perfect tenderness. What really made the night was our waiter Graham. He went above and beyond in every detail. Even prayed at our table for our daughter who has stage 4 Metastatic non operable Breast cancer. His prayers for our family touched our hearts. To top it off he brought us a Bailey's Irish cream cheese cake with a Birthday candle and sang happy birthday with me to my wife. She was overjoyed. We have heard so many good things about the Veranda. My wife has wanted to go ever since she moved here 15 years ago. Our expectations were beyond exceeded. Can't wait to go back.
