I was recommended this restaurant for catering an upcoming party, so I decided to try their food first. I placed a pickup order for Saturday night (12/13/25) with a scheduled pickup time of 7:30 PM. I arrived about 10 minutes early to pay and had no issue waiting, since I knowingly arrived early.
When the cashier called out for the pickup, one of the kitchen staff responded loudly, saying, “Yeah, it’s not ready — 7:30, duh?” Speaking that way about a paying customer, especially within earshot, was incredibly unprofessional.
Additionally, I paid for a slice of cake that was not available. It was only after I asked for a refund that the cashier checked whether any were available in the back, which should have been done beforehand.
The only positive interaction I had was with the young woman wearing the blue skeleton hoodie — she was polite and showed genuine customer service skills.
I was courteous and respectful throughout and did not cause a scene. However, this experience has cost them my business. I work in the same forum center and am frequently asked for food recommendations; unfortunately, this will now be a firm no.
