We really wanted to like this place - we waited for the restaurant to be open after the holidays but the experience was a little disappointing.
First of all they really seem to love the balsamic vinegar - it was in the olive oil with the complimentary bread, it was in the bruschetta and it was in the arancini (the portion was a little less for the price). I have been to Italy and even there they don't use balsamic vinegar as much.
But the most disappointing was the pasta - the taste is good but the portions are very less for the $20-odd you are paying per dish. We had the gnocchi with pesto and the campigna pasta.
The dessert was the saviour - the tiramisu and the frutti di Bosco cheesecake didn't look very good but tasted excellent.
I think they can do a lot better for the prices they are asking.

Food is terrible. Overpriced for what you get. Expect the lasagna to be layers and layers of pasta with no cheese, and meatballs appetizers are literally out of a freezer bag with some sauce dumped on them. It used to be a real Italian trattoria, but all of that is fine now, very disappointing.

Wow, best Meat Balls I ever had! First time visiting Trattoria Mia and there was not any disappointment. My Daughter ordered Ravioli and it was delicious, I ordered Carbonara and the best one . Desserts are to die for, I will definitely recommend it and will be back!

Delivery was late. Fish dish came with a piece of fish no veg or anything a side of pasta my gnocchi were not hot and there were only about 8 tortalini. For 92.00 it was not worth it there are to many other Italian returants that I can go to

After reading the positive reviews, I decided to try this little Italian place for the first time. I'm very happy that I did, as the food was excellent. I ordered a linguini seafood dish and fried calamari (appetizer). Everything was prepared perfectly. The young lady who gave me my order was so nice.
I placed this order on the restaurant website and was easy and user friendly. I'm sure that I will be returning in the near future.

This place is a little hidden gem!! Our first visit was exceptional! Our waiter Alex was so sweet and helpful! He recommended we start with the bruschetta which was delicious! He helped my sister in law decide on penne with carbonara sauce and also recommended to me the chicken parmesan! Both entrees were so good!! Even though we hadnt planned on it, we both had dessert!! That Alex is a great representative! Lol I had the cheesecake and my sister in law had the chocolate cake! Both were incredible! Alex, who is the chefs son and a fabulous waiter, td us that everything is made on premise. We will definitely go back and would highly recommend Trattoria Mia to everyone!!!

Sadly my BD dinner with family was not a success. The server was scattered, forgot to provide several items we asked for multiple times and was hard to understand. The Parmesan dishes were extremely soggy and tasted very bland and ordinary. Happily, the other veal dish ordered was enjoyable. So disappointed….especially since I was the one who suggested where to eat on my BD.

This places makes me wish I lived in Fort Myers, I had an amazing experience. The lady who served us, Claudia, was super nice and very attentative. The food was one of the most delicious Italian places I ever have, and I eat Italian often. I will be dreaming about that Burrata. I had the Chicken Parm and my wife had the Fettuccine Alfredo and we both licked our plates clean! The desserts we also extremely delicious. If you are looking for Italian food, definitely check this place out!
