Stopped here today and got catfish sandwiches and fries to take home. We only live about 15 minutes away, but I was still expecting the fries to be soggy and thought I'd probably need to reheat the fish. Opened the boxes up at home and it was still piping hot. The fries were crunchy, as was the catfish, and even the bread managed not to be soggy. This surpassed my expectations. The fish was well seasoned and there was plenty of it, and they give you a mountain of fires. The young lady who made this knows what she is doing, and we will definitely stop here again.

They got me in my feelings bout them “beans”!!! $6 for a serving of canned dressed black beans. Saving grace is them collard greens. Better learn how to soak some beans overnight. Slow cook some smoked turkey. Hell you can even do some pinto beans! Invest in a pressure cooker. 3 stars for now. Needs improvement.

The guy in front of me was asking questions and I almost walked away but the owner said “baby where you going” and lemme tell you I’m glad I stayed and got some of that food. The catfish dinner was on point! Moist corn bread Mac n cheese was fireeee! Definitely recommend.
Stopped by yesterday, the food was great. Owner was very nice. Definitely will be going back when I’m in the area.

Mannnnnn this food was so good. We got the feast for $50 so that we could try pretty much everything. The cornbread was sweet and fluffy. The fish, chicken, and pork chop was seasoned very well. The greens also bursting with flavor. Everything was really good. We walked over here from Love's Truck Stop. Soul food away from home was perfect!
