My first time visiting, I was welcomed like family❣️ I stopped in for a to-go plate. These ladies and the cooks really are amazing!! I purchased the smothered pork chop, collard greens, and homemade baked Mac and cheese. It was a great size portion and I was able to snack on it through out the day. The portion was enough to share for two. The food was amazing. I had a chance to speak with some of the staff as well. They go above and beyond for their customers and make you feel right at home. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Especially if you're looking for a Sunday dinner type of meal❣️❣️Thank you so much Nunus Soul Food for your amazing hospitality and delicious food.

First time here. Had pigtails, collards, and beans. The meat was cooked so well. The beans were slightly too sweet but not bad. Would definitely go back.

I got the oxtail, and it was pretty good. My only complaint was that there was a lot of fat on the bones other than that, the rice and oxtail were tasty. The mac & cheese and green beans were also good. Lastly, the baked beans. I don't know the spice that was used, but you could definitely taste it. Even still, the beans were good. I enjoyed my meal and would love to go back to try more meals.
Just had a wonderful dinner at Nunu's. We had Chicken Wings, BBQ Ribs, and Chitlins. The owner made us four different wonderful frozen drinks (we all tasted them). They were all wonderful tasting. The sides we had included Fries, Collard Greens, Mac 'n Cheese (best I've ever had), Cornbread Muffins, and Fried Okra. All of the food was very tasty. The service just couldn't have been better. We drove 30 miles to get there, and we will definitely be back!

Food was absolutely delicious, chicken wings were fried to perfection my family of 5. We had the fried pork chop with French fries , Asian chili wings with fries, pig feet with rice collard greens and yams all had blueberry lemonade , great customer service 10/10 recommend.

I had meatloaf served on a bed of yellow rice, baked beans, fries, side of conch fritters and the star of the meal the SWEET POTATO PIE. Each bite is like thanksgiving dinner with your favorite friends and family member, (not the Family members who start fights by bringing up old events 😂😂)
The conch fritters and meatloaf yum 😋 very good too ☺️

Sad how yu mess up lemon pepper wings by forgetting the lemon pepper den provides store bought ranch the mango blue island is rlly blue mystics frm the store with added sugars

Oxtail meal was great! Great portions, good flavor, good texture. The lemon pepper turkey wings were not good....weird flavor profile. I'd just order them without the wetness....maybe just the seasoning.

I stopped in around lunch after seeing the "Best Soul Food in Town" sign. I ended up ordering the catfish with collard greens and fried okra, and I can tell you the sign was not wrong! First, the catfish was perfectly breaded and fried, but was not oily at all. The catfish fillet was thick, fresh, and flaky. I never had catfish that even came close to being this amazing! To top off the catfish, it was served with an incredible side of homemade lemon butter, which featured fresh dill. The collard greens were tasty and tender, but not soggy. The fried okra was good, but about the same as I have had at other restaurants, and certainly not as superlative as the catfish and collard greens. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was friendly and helpful. I don't get why there is not a line out the door because Nunus serves more than lunch, it's an experience, and they do it at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Nunus to anyone who enjoys great food. I'm already looking forward to going back!
